Convenient location

Posted Jul 19, 2015
The hotel is clean, comfortable and conveniently located. We were over-nighting between the airport and travelling on to Sorrento the following morning. The hotel was also close to the centre of old Naples for us to have a walk around. The staff were helpful, the rooms were of a good size and the breakfast on the terrace was adequate.

Good location central location. Close to transportation hubs. The outdoor upstairs patio was nice and having late service of snacks and beverages was much appreciated.

Excellent hotel near station, rough neighbourhood.

Posted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: The really helpful staff, the lovely terrace for breakfast or late evening drinks, and the quality of the room and bathroom.
Cons: Nothing, internally.
Location: The hotel is near the station (good), but not in easy walking distance from anywhere else you might want to visit, including restaurants (not so good)
The hotel is superb, internally, with particularly helpful staff. The only problem is finding a decent restaurant for dinner nearby, apart from Di Michele - famous pizza but long lines. Otherwise you have to take a bus/metro/taxi. It is easy to walk to the station for trains to (e.g.) Pompeii and Herculaneum, and for the metro, except that Piazza Garibaldi is in the throes of major redevelopment, so you may have to go a long way round.

Great hotel

Posted Jul 2, 2015
Pros: Courteous and kind staff. Very clean throughout.
Cons: Nothing that I can think of. Was perfectly satisfied with my stay.
Location: Location is in central Naples very near the main train station. Several restaurants, bars, gelaterias in the area.
Stayed for three nights in a double room. Clean, centrally-located hotel with excellent staff. Good breakfast choices. Location overlooks a street where there is a daily market but the area was otherwise safe and quiet in the evening.

Great hotel, area a bit run down

Posted Jun 4, 2015
Location: Right next to the historic centre - if you want to do the Lonely Planet 'World Heritage Wander' the hotel is right at the start.
Perfectly placed for the train station and the historic centre. Unfortunately this area is a bit run down with lots of graffiti. That said the hotel is just off Corso Umberto I which is a main thoroughfare in Naples so you don't need to walk round the back streets to get there. When you step through the doors the hotel is an oasis of calm cleanliness. The foyer is lovely and the rooms were well appointed. Great shower. The breakfast in the morning was also excellent. The receptionist was extremely helpful and polite.

Naples in May

Posted May 31, 2015
Pros: A very convenient launching point since it is near the metro.
Cons: The beds could be more comfortable
Location: A shrt walk to the central train station and metro.
The hotel is a five minute walk from the main train station. It is very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are a nice size. Breakfast on the roof is pleasant with a nice view of the duomo. The street the hotel is on is not very nice but we never felt unsafe. It is jus steps from a main street though.
