Good value for the price . Clean tecently renovated room and bathroom . Reception staff very patient and efficient . Good location for those transiting to airport or train station or visiting Naples for 2-3 days . Also a short walk to historic centre . Some visitors may be detereed by the area but thats what one expects around most train stations .

on arriving the first impression of the entrance is very disappointing , dirty and probably not decorated for many many years. however my room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable and its only 5 minutes from the railway station. so if you can look past the entrance the room was good.

Alright but nothing to write home about
Room was ok, but noting special. It's close to the station and had late check-in which were ideal for us. If you're not arriving late and don't need to be close to the station for an early departure, then you can probably find better for the money.

Nice basic hotel, very close to station. Clean, beds okay, be open minded. The area seems dodgy around the hotel, but it's actually not and all the folk we encountered were friendly. Some great pizza places within 10 minutes walk north.

Hotel is located less than a 5 minute walk from the central train station. Rooms are clean, bathroom is clean, water in the shower is HOT, and the AC in the rooms is strong (even waking up several times in the night cold!). Yes the neighborhood around the hotel isn’t the best, but the staff at the hotel has no control over that, and we even noticed that’s how a majority of Naples is (do your research on the city itself before visiting). For the price of the hotel I really don’t know where the bad reviews come from. People want a 5 star hotel for the price of 60 Euro a night. Also, the manager is very kind, polite, and hospitable. We had no issues while staying here and would definitely return for the price that we paid for the room. The building and the hotel itself are very secure, requiring to be buzzed in for entry to both. The bed is also comfortable considering some of the other locations we have stayed in in the country. Overall, a great experience if you want a very central location for a very good price.

The area that the hotel is situated is dirty and scary. Did not feel comfortable walking around during the day, let alone at night. The entrance to the hotel is also dirty and dark. You have to be buzzed into the area where your room is every time. they don’t give you a key and sometimes take a while to answer the buzzer. Linen and bedding was stained and dirty. Tv didn’t work Aircon remote didn’t work. Had to stand up on the bed to turn it on and couldn’t change the settings or temperature. Shower had bugs that came out of the drain overnight after a shower. Dirty towel left in the room from guests before Lots of noise coming from the other rooms and hallways (not soundproof) Our room was entered by housekeeping staff but not locked again and left ajar all day. The hotel is cheaper than other places in Naples but just avoid staying in this area around the central station all together. Would rather spend a lot extra to stay somewhere else.

WOULD NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN
I was shocked with the reception. When I checked in I was told my room had a shared bathroom. If I wanted to use the bathroom at night I would have to leave my room and use the bathroom in the hallway. The receptionist told me if I wanted a room with a private bathroom I'd have to pay $5 euros extra. Not a large amount but I thought it was ridiculous that I had to pay extra. So I paid the $5 and asked for a receipt. the receptionist said he couldnt provide me one because the amount was so small and I could either take the room withouth bathroom or give him the $5. I finaly gave him the $5 and didn't ask for a receipt. the breakfast was awful. not many option. I had a crossaint and a cup of coffee. that was it. I woulnd't dare showering barefoot on that shower.

The rooms are on 2nd floor of a building so the TV/ sitting area and breakfast area is in the corridor outside the bedrooms. Breakfast is limited to Croissant, 2 cereals and toast with tea and coffee. Staff were helpful and polite. Need 10c for lift. Hotel is along a street near the main Station and Piazza Garibaldi. Great for trains and a 15 min walk to the Port, Airport shuttle home was 12 mins so handy for that. Rooms were clean and tidied each day. air con worked and was roomy for the 3 of us. Also WiFi worked. Not bad for what we paid.

Budget hotel near Naples train station
Passing through Naples for one night, I booked knowing the area this hotel is in is a bit shady, but very close to the train station. The hotel occupies two floors of a somewhat run down building, but the hotel floors are renovated and clean. My room was also completely renovated and clean. Bathroom is ok, everything functioned but is a bit worn. The room had one double bed and one single, but the single bed lacked bed sheets, so the double was the only option. The room had large modern doors leading to a French balcony, nice. My two complaints are: the room had no heat (I stayed in December), and was not uncomfortable but did get a bit colder than I would have liked; and second the bed blanket (on top of the white sheet) was only a single size placed across the bottom half, even though the bed is a double. Air conditioning was provided so the room seems like it would be good for a summer stay. Breakfast was included, and there are a number of tables on the reception floor for this. A croissant and coffee, as well as bread with jam, some pre-wapped cakes, tea and heated milk were available... just fine for the price. I would recommend the hotel for those on a budget and looking for a short stay. Expect a simple clean room and a shady neighborhood, friendly enough staff and an decent breakfast, all for a budget price.

Great stop over
Wonderful hotel and wonderful staff. Had a lovely quick stop over here as we had a flight early morning from Naples Airport. The staff could not do enough for us. The hotel itself is spotless and we have no complaints. The area is a little scary but just have your wits about you, don't have your flashy items on show and don't converse with beggars or touters and you will be fine.

Average to poor hotel.
From my perspective the hotel was not great. Shower was dirty, towels were like sandpaper. The location was good based on the proximity with the Napoli Central Station; however, me and wife felt a little weary given that we felt that it was a dangerous neighborhood. From a location stand-point to the train station the hotel is great, but other than that I would not recommend it.

This hotel is located near the street markets and there are a lot of black people very near. Their behaviour is normal .and quiet. It is a bit surprising at first.. It is very close to the main train station : 2 metro lines, circulanumvesuviana for Pompei, Herculanum and also the Amalfi coast if you take a bus from Sorrente. This a family hotel, the staff is nice. I had a pleasant stay there.

Chemical smell, run down building
There was a very strong insectacide smell on our floor. Clean room great staff and breakfast. I am from NYC so I'm used to bed neighborhoods but rough even for me. Drug dealers day and prostitution at night many homeless outside. Although most people don't bug you and are nice compared to NY. We stayed one night and day but I would recommend to skip Naples and take an hour bus to Amalfi or Salerno or boat to Ischia right away this hotel is in a very run down building! Even for New Yorker

The hotel is located on the 2nd floor of a building. The actual hotel is nice and clean. A continental breakfast is served. The staff were pleasant. The only negative is that the local area isn't very nice but that is to be expected being so close to the train station. Close to central railway station, handy for visiting Mt. Vesuvius, Herculaneum and Pompeii, and also Sorrento and beyond. Clean room and staff very friendly, helpful and speak good English. Good breakfast (included). Plenty of places to eat nearby, and the old town is only about 15 minutes' walk from the hotel. Hotel Zara had everything I wanted from a hotel and at a good price. Close to the central station with tasty breakfast
The breakfast served at this hotel was not bad (large croissant with or without chocolate and hot coffee or tea, and we could help ourselves with juice, tarts and small snacks). But most of the rooms at this hotel are close to the front desk and lobby and a lot of voices and noises were heard while staying in our room, which was located between the front desk and lobby on the ground floor. Would recommend this hotel if you are on a budget trip.

Worst place ever, don't book here!!!
First of all, the neighborhood where this place is located is really bad. We had booked a non smoking room for just one night. We got one where somebody had just smoked a cigarette and throwed it in the bathroom's thrash can, which was also loaded with garbage. When I asked for another room, they gave me the only one they had left, one that was right next to the front desk and to the "breakfast/dinning room". Actually, there is no reception because the front desk is in the hallway, where all the rooms are!. Besides hearing all the noise coming from the recepcionist voice, coffe machine, people laughing, front desk's phone and door bell, we also had to hear the noise from the outside because the window had the closing system broke. After insisting with the recepcionist to "try to solve this", who by the way didn't speak english, he called the owner of the hotel, Mariano, and gave me the phone. After just a few seconds of chatting with this guy, the OWNER, I understood why all worked so bad here. This person doesn't understand what a guest is, has no idea what kind of businness he is trying to run, thinks that he's doing the guests a big favor by letting them stay at his place (I won't call it a hotel), and he was a very rude and ordinary person that declined to give me any kind of solution. He told me that he didn't care about the cigarette and the window because I arrived at 19:30 and that was too late. An answer like that, and from the Owner, explains everything.

Nice hotel, trashy neighborhood
Naples near the train station is just plain nasty. Trash everywhere, no traffic regulation, all sorts of characters on the streets. Too bad this hotel has to be there, but if your priority is to be near the train station and you do not plan to go out at night and you did not bring children this place will do. The entry to the building is not promising, but the interior of the hotel is fine and so was the room. We were able to drop our bags about 9 am then go to Pompeii for the day. We returned that evening and all was ok. We left before breakfast so we can't rate it.

Good location, but a bit chilly. Thin walls.
Close to the station and accepts check-in at any time which was nice. We were put in a room right next to the tables for breakfast, which turned out very bad in the morning, because at 7AM starts a very loud clutter with knives and forks. Also the room was right next to the manager's room (who stays up all night and so on). We asked for a different room and though they were reluctant in the beginning they offered to change our room right after breakfast, which was very nice of them. We had no further problems after that, besides the fact that there wasn't always hot water and the first evening it was just warm (when I wanted a hot shower). It was a little cold at times. There were air conditioners, but no remotes for them and we couldn't really operate it much.

If you're looking for a budget option and do not want to stay far from the train station, this is a good choice. Clean and convenient, it's pretty good for a two-star hotel.
