Un oasis dans un quartier ... disons .. surprenant

Posted Apr 21, 2015

Posted Mar 2, 2015
Pros: De hotelkamer was ontzettend netjes en schoon
Cons: Het ontbijt!

Hotel Joyful Poggio Realle Naples

Posted Oct 31, 2014
Pros: The rooms were very nice and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was good for getting into the centre .
Cons: The area around the hotel is very poorly maintained and is overflowing with rubbish . Not sure the hotel can do much about this though.
Location: The location is very run down and dirty. Mainly delapidated industrial units mixed with residential accomodation, a few local bars and cafes.
The hotel is very basic, but the staff are helpful and polite, though their English is also basi. The rooms are clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. The street where the hotel is located is in a very run down industrial and residential area, with what appears to be a delapidited factoryopposite. The area around the hotel and the road the hotel is located on, is strewn with rubbish, but this does not appear to be unique to this part of Naples. You will have to go out of the hotel to eat for anything other than breakfast, as there is only a very basic breakfast service and nothing else. Having said that if you are prepared to go out, there are some very nice little bars and cafes nearby, where the locals eat, which are friendly, have good food and are good value for money. The local people are very friendly and helpful. There is a supermarket just round the corner and the Metro station is only round the corner too and is just two stops away from the main Railway station and the City Centre, with all it's many shops and historical buildings. If the Metro is not for you then a taxi into the main Garibaldi square is less than ten Euros and the taxi from the airport was only sixteen Euros. If you just want a base to explore Naples and the surrounding area that is clean (once you are inside), safe and you are comfortable with some very basic Italian, I would reccommend this hotel.

greeting from Naples

I was in the Joifull Hotel in September. My stay was really great. the room where I was accommodated appears to be very clean and comfortable. The only thing I would like to point out is that the area where the hotel is located was not so clean and the management should pay more attention.
