Dirty dilapidated surrounding inner city buildings and streets. Unsafe environment prone to higher than usual theft and they watch and target you, but only if you stand out or look like a foreigner however, you can still walk the streets at day if you travel in groups or a couple just walk fast and look out for people pretending to run past you, hold your bag and don't let anyone move up behind you. My wife and I walked from the star Hotel which was our pickup point for our Amalfi coast tour. We walked straight up Via Galleleo Ferraris to Magris Hotel. Figure out where your directions in a safe place like in a diner bakery before you go to avoid pulling out your phone making yourself a target. Enough about the area, we were in room 118 had a view of some old tour and the dirty street.shower was very small even for my wife who is 5.5ft 140lbs and I am 6ft 180lbs and I couldn't turn around in the shower.coffe boiler had mold like white ionized substance on it. Breakfast was free for us but you will need to pay for dinner. Not sure about lunch. You will need to sneak in your food if you buy outside because they have a policy against it.walls sounded thin because you could hear others and this must mean they can hear you. Restaurant across the street by the gas station food is great but expensive to dine in.Buy to take out instead.

Stayed here for four nights, Giantruco train station is a 10 minute walk which you can use to get to Piazza Garibaldi in around 3 minutes, or a 25 minute walk to Piazza Garibaldi, Naples port is around a 50 minute walk or you drive/ get a taxi there in around 10-15 minutes, or a bus that takes around 25-30. The complimentary breakfast is good, as well as the lunch and dinner options. The outside area is very nice,spent a lot of my time relaxing there with a drink and some cigarettes. The bedroom was very spacious and comfortable. Would happily stay here again.

The surrounding area is unsafe for women, specifically lone female travelers. Staff was great, but the hotel didn’t have enough amenities where you could reasonably stay indoors throughout the duration of your stay.

The rooms are decent and clean. The location, while potentially practical because of the train station nearby, is quite bad. The walk from the station to the hotel is super filthy. The restaurant of the hotel is terrible, do not make the mistake of using it.

Okay hotel
The staff are friendly. The area isn't so great and I didn't feel comfortable walking back to the hotel at night. But they offer a shuttle bus from the city centre which is convenient. Our room had very old and faded carpet.

Very nice property, would have hoped in was alittle closer to the heart of Naples,the good thing though is that they offer you a free shuttle to center of city for frree.

Clean, nice service, not close to city center
The hotel was clean and staff was nice. The hotel shuttle service was more than what is listed on the website and on hotels.com. I paid 40 euros when I was expecting 25. The hotel isn’t close to the city center, so they offer a free shuttle from 8:00 to 11:30, but I think it should be offered at least one time in the afternoon and then start at 8. I was unable to get a taxi to the city for a 5:30 class I had so I just missed it. The restaurant food is not to great, and seeing that they are not close to the city, I expected more from the food. The hotel overall is a good and clean hotel.

Hotel is great and staff was friendly and helpful but area outside in the neighborhood and surrounding city in the area has so much grafittii and garbage and homeless people and trash and human feces in the streets and bus station elevators that we did not feel safe walking around outside of the hotel

Not the greatest area, with very little at all within walking distance. That being said, the property itself was well maintained. The cleaning staff were excellent in cleaning and resupplying everday. The restaraunt on property was some of the best eating we had while in Italy. And Luigi, who oversees the restaraunt and bar, was above fantastic!

Very nice hotel, received the VIP access. My floor and room was recently renovated so it was really NICE!! Restaurant was good, breakfast had a lot of variety and staff was extremely helpful and accommodating.

one star hotel
We ordered and received a beautiful and large room, in the second floor with elevator. the room was unbearably noisy, we asked to change it. They moved us to a small room 2.5 floors without elevator a simple room of a less than one star hotel. In short, it was a nightmare. We paid for a 4-star hotel, we got a room in a 1-star hotel. It is forbidden to approach this hotel.

The Magris hotel was very clean and the staff very nice. I didn't realize it is in the industrial area and therefore the surrounding area is extremely dirty and full of litter as well as homeless people hanging around. The hotel would not allow us to bring food to our room other than room service, so being told that was quite insulting. The continental breakfast was good and was included. The air conditioner in the property has been broken for over a month which we were only told when we arrived, which required us to keep our windows open and our room was right above the entrance to an adjacent hotel and bar, so was quite noisy. The bed was not very comfortable but the room was very clean and updated with power stations, tv, etc. We were trying to dry some wet clothes in the bathroom with the window open but housekeeping closed the windows while we were out and with no AC our clothes stayed damp. Overall the stay was fine but even though the hotel and staff were nice I would stay elsewhere in the future.

Average hotel in a poor part of town.
The hotel is 3 star at most. It is situated in a very unpleasant part of town (which says a lot when you're talking about Naples). The air conditioning did not really work and the room was very hot in the afternoon and evening. Breakfast was fine, but you had to ask someone for everything you wanted. It was convenient for the airport, but not for more than one night's stay.

My teenage daughter and I traveled to Italy for the first time. Staying at the Magris hotel for seven nights. We were very happy with our room, and the grounds. We were pleasantly surprised by how updated our room was, and how nicely the grounds were kept. They offer a very nice complimentary breakfast, with many options. The staff were very kind and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

We didn't like the area around the hotel as there was a lot of litter and graffiti, and it was quite industrial, but this seemed to be the case with most of the parts of the city we saw. The hotel was clean and nice - a small oasis amongst the grot. We felt safe in the hotel.

Liked the entrance look...looked better than expected...welcoming staff and friendly, very accommodating if any problems and for general help...only issue was the ants in our room on the ground floor, but moved rooms straight away thanks to kind staff...breakfast could use help yourself buffet and more selection.
