“Paradise Found”

This is a true resort hotel, it has multiple restaurants catering to all tastes and budgets, a Spa a very fine pool area and nice sandy beaches. You can't get much better.

“Christmas Holiday”

We had a wonderful Stay during the Christmas Holiday and everyone was so nice and accomodating. Our room was great and the facilities were fantastic. We would stay here again.

“Great beach resort for families.”

Great experience. Beach is fantastic, great access. Room is very nice, however a bit smaller compared with other Marriot hotels of same characteristics. Beach personnel pushes you out as soon as sunset approaches. That would be the only negative thing. Restaurants are ok, nothing spectacular. However room service food was superb!

“Awesome beach !”

Our trip was short , but very relaxing with the spa , pools and beach just steps from our rooms. The desk accommodated our request for rooms close to the center of the resort to cut down on the walking distance. The beach was wonderful, although I can't quite understand all the charges for umbrellas or chickee huts for those that need shade. $20 or $35 respectively per day seems a bit high for guests that will end up spending additional on drinks or food that will be ordered from the beach service.......and those are very pricey. Having been to many resorts in Caribbean and Mexico,where there is no charge for such conveniences, it just seems that they could make some allowances (for guests with health issues especially.) Since we had rented a car, we chose to eat away from the resort, so I cannot review any of the restaurants there. We did like the cafe, though with the quick bagels/ sandwiches/desserts they had to offer. For breakfast, we thought Ne Ne's was OK, but Hoot's was by far the best. Not fancy, and a 5 minute drive, for the BEST homemade bread for toast, and wonderful people to serve you. I have to give a special thank you to Monica, the concierge that took extra care to help us get our boarding passes before we left. The kiosk in the lobby was not cooperating, so after a few phone calls with the airline, she managed to expedite our problem with a smile. We had wonderful weather, and the most comfortable beds. Would love to go back to the spa, too!!

“Wonderful Hotel and Location”

We stayed here based off other customer reviews and we were extremely happy with the hotel. The service was superb, it has wonderful pools and is right on the beach. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. The hotel is located in quite area, so not many food places to walk to, the hotel food was OK but limited choice for kids. Eating out on Marco Island tends to be little more expensive and the hotel was no different. They did some excellent kids activities during our stay, of which the wild animal show near the Children's pool was the best I have seen, the lady presenter was very informative and funny, keeping the children fully engaged for almost an hour. Plus the kids got to touch most of the animals, ranging from alligator to a lima. Overall very happy with the resort and would go back in a heartbeat.

“Honeymoon”

My husband and I recently spent our honeymoon at the Marriot Gold Resort and Spa on Marco Island, Florida. Everything was exceptional! Excellent views, plenty to do, the pool was awesome. Only thing is that the prices within the resort were a little much but if you go to other restaurants and stores outside of the resort, prices are much more reasonable. The white sandy beaches were gorgeous! The Gulf of Mexico was warm and very calm, like swimming in a bath tub. There were ton's of sea shells and other things to explore. Sunsets were beautiful. There are just too many things to list but we will definately go back again someday and would recommend this resort to anyone that is wanting a trip to paradise!

“Gulf paradise”

Beautiful hotel,clean,courteous staff are the hallmarks of the Marco IS Marriott.The grouper sandwich at Quinns was disappointing; for health conscious travelers this fried to a crisp fish sandwich was tasteless. If the weather is rainey,beware ,there is no nightlife or much else to do. The concierge service recommended the Little Bar reataurant in Goodfield; terrific

“Perfect place for families who love the beach”

Having three children aged 5-10, this was a perfect place to chill out and enjoy the beach. The tiki pool was perfect for kids to play in and there was shade for the adults. Pool snack bar & Quins were perfect for drinks for adults and the beach delivery services was very convient! Overall, nice clean beautiful place to enjoy the beach and pool without going to the caribbean.

“Great Hotel”

Highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are large and comfortable. The beach is fantastic. Restaurants are good but pricey which is to be expected. Overall, very statisified. My family will return again.
