A glorious four day stay on the Gulf

Posted Sep 6, 2014
Pros: The closeness to the Gulf
Cons: Eliminate the fee for wifi and beach chairs
Location: Kelly'Shell Shack was a great place to visit. Many unusual items. Also, the Collier Train Museum was outstanding. The trolley tour was not worth It
We spent four glorious days right on the Gulf. Service was outstanding and friendly.

Pros: Nothing at all, very expensive for what you get.
Cons: A lot of things if you ask me, but since i'm not planning to go back, don't really care.
Location: location is OK- not a lot to do near by.
My experience was very bad, room smelled like mold, ask to be transfer to another room , they refussed, very rude and unhelpfull staff.

Great stay at Almost there hotel.

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Central, oceanfront location. Public areas extremely well kept. Oceanfront pools. Outstanding car valet/baggage service. Tennis, golf avail.
Cons: Weekend housekeeping. No bars of soap given after the first ones in room on Thurs. On sat pm, pool are had one young guy doing all, more staff?
Location: Central location on beach, nearby is main peer, tin city w/all it's restaurants, boat rentals, fishing trips, etc. 5th av-tons of shops/restaurant.
lobby in th main building appears newly renovated n gives a high end feeling. There are live orchids everywhere. In lobby There is a small sundry store n cafe which had all the basics as well as some gourmet treats pizza, sandwiches, gourmet desserts, n aTommy Bahama store. Sundry store is on expensive side but not excessive for convenience n quality. The rooms are fairly spacious n nicely decorated with a Florida feel. Our room had a balcony on the 2nd floor which overlooked the roof system. we got a great deal on it so.. We had a shower , no tub. Lots of closet space. Surprise small fruit basket was sent to our room as we had a birthday! From the lobby u can walk out right to the expanse of greAt wide beach. Spectacular! The property grounds are not too lush but very well manicured. One adult pool, one kid friendly, hot tubs, beachside with great clean facilities. Other bar/ snack facilities in pool areas. GreAt central location to tourist attractions. Could easily be a top hotel with some minor tweaking. Internet is xtra. Room housekeeping was noticeably lax on weekend. All in all we had a great stay, property is far , far nicer than we expected. Hotel staff, specially valet, baggage staff was simply outstanding. hotel was completely sold out over weekend which may have somewhat overwhelmed some staff, but for room price point......... all in all loved our stay and would recommend. Sunsets are NOT to be missed!

Nice hotel but expensive.

Posted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: Great location to down town for a variety of upscale restaurants and shopping.
Cons: They advertise an adult pool but we found several children jumping and diving into the pool with hotel staff not enforcing the rules. wifi expensive
Location: Near downtown and the Naples Zoo
Naples Beach Hotel is in a very nice setting. The view of the ocean was over stated and could have been better. Parking was free but all other items like beach umbrellas and chairs were at a cost.

Naples by The Sea

Posted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: Location and bedroom design with balcony and spaciousness. Afternoon tea and 'cookies'.
Cons: The management seem to want to charge for everything on top of a fairly hefty room charge. Sun beds on the beach were 12 dollars AN HOUR.
Location: Need a car or good pair of legs to get into town. Pier some two miles away and the town about the same.
Easy to find with great location and an enjoyable stay.
