The hotel was very beautiful and staff was extremely attentive. The food at hotel whether it was lunch or dinner was always excellent. My wife's only complaint was the room was not cool enough. The temp stayed at 74 even when we adjusted the temp to a lower setting. Our recommendation is for hotel to have fans to compliment the decor and at least keep the room a little cooler. But other than that the hotel was excellent

Beach Resort

Pros: The rooms are nice but we found small ants on the dressers and in the bathroom, I suppose this could be normal due to the humidity.
Cons: Free chairs & umbrellas on beach, free drink voucher should be valid for all beer brands
Location: Naples downtown, Vanderbilt beach & lunch at the light tower
The Price paid for the room and the additional Resort fee does not include use of the beach chairs, you only receive free towels, chairs and umbrellas have an additional fee, much higher than if you go to a public beach. The Hotel is a half mile from the beach and the view is not a beachview, it's a view of the sea at a distance.

Excellent staff, service and cleanliness! Family oriented hotel with great atmosphere! We have traveled the world and this hotel is a top 3!!!

The hotel was excellent but the beach was dark and muddy most of the time.

Nice place, amazing resort, clean beach, good food and drinks. The hotel rates is chip but the prices of restaurant and bar are very expensive!

Cons: They should do something about the roof view. Our room overlooked it and not the greatest view. Perhaps put some AstroTurf.
We've been here before when it was the Waldorf. Came back. Staff seems to be friendlier now and nice job with renovation.

It's just OK.

Pros: It's hip looking.
Cons: The service.
Location: It's near the beach. The only things you should plan on doing is going to the beach and shopping (there are 2 malls and Fifth South Ave.).
The hotel was very nice in appearance but we felt the staff wasn't that great. It's a resort and some of its offerings were very expensive so I would expect great service. Not so much. The person that initially checked us in had no clue what he was doing (even had to ask the guy next to him for help). The hotel had problems with the key cards so our key cards didn't work to get us in and out of the parking garage so it was this big ordeal every time we wanted to leave the resort. Don't be fooled into think that this resort is right on the beach... It's roughly a mile away from the beach. There are shuttles but it was so busy when we went that we ended up walking. There was also a room service incident. We had to change our order twice because the kitchen couldn't figure out was they had in stock. Then the room service attendant came to our room with the complete opposite of what we asked for and expected us to pay for it. Oh, and just to give you an idea of what the food cost... 24 buffalo wings will set you back $48 and all it includes is celery. No fries. No drink. Don't get me wrong, the hotel is very nice but for the amount we spent, we felt it should have been a better experience.
