Noisiest hotel experience ever...

Posted Nov 24, 2014
So the floor below me was apparently being renovated so each day I awoke to workers laying tile & tapping them into place. Then they'd move their buckets around & the sound just echoed- it was almost like I was in the room with them. I called to complain & after numerous calls back from the manager confirming that what I was hearing was in fact construction work (thanks!!)--he sent an "amenity" to my room; a plate of cheese and crackers. While the gesture was nice, the workers were back first thing the next morning banging away and making my stay sleepless and uncomfortable.

Two day getaway

Posted Nov 13, 2014
Pros: Every single staff member at the hotel was as polite and helpful as they could possibly be.
Cons: Nothing was provided as what is covered in the resort fee. No complimentary water, no continental breakfast, more like a tourist trap.
Location: High end mall with great places to eat within walking distance, the beach, Naples pier, 5th Avenue.
First time staying at this hotel, very nice hotel with impeccable landscaping. Hotel is under renovation so beware of noise most of the day. Had breakfast the first day on the balcony with mist from the pressure cleaning. We did move to another room in order to get a better view of the gulf and on the second day, the concrete chipping started at 10:30. The hotel is beautiful and should be renovated by January, a little too expensive for a return trip. We paid a resort fee but had no idea what it covered. Food and drink is way overpriced, and the only thing we knew was included with the room was towels and chaise lounge chairs at the beach.

unwilling to honor reservation type

Posted Nov 10, 2014
Location: Downtown Naples is a wonderful location that is warm and inviting and full of life and character.
I booked a King size room with ocean view for a single person several months before my stay. What I received when I checked in was a room with two queens and a view that barely saw the ocean due to the rooms angle and other buildings. When I came back down to the front desk to inquire about receiving the room I booked and confirmed I was told that it was not possible due to the resort being full for the night and that because I was a single occupant they felt it was okay to change my accommodations without my consent or prior knowledge. They also offered nothing in the way of an apology or to try and fix the situation other than a bottle of water on the morning of my checkout.

Highly disappointed!

Posted Nov 9, 2014
Pros: NOTHING
Cons: AC in room to go below 72 degrees Don't close the pool down for private party and dismiss the other guest that paid high dollar that stay
Location: Swann River Seafood resturant! Best place to eat in town
We were in Naples on a business trip and there weren't many rooms available at the last minute due to a convenstion in town! We figurered if we were staying in a hotel that charges high prices with advertising of "views of the bay", then we'd have a nice room with a nice view and all that comes with the price! We were very wrong for thinking this way. Our room had a view of a roof top and the lower roof tob below that one. A SLIGHT view of the bay was visible, but nothing to write home about. Seen more of the city lights than anything! The air conditioner in the room would not go below 72 degrees which is not a good thing since it's very hot and humid in Naples this time of year! It was very uncomfortable trying to sleep at night when the sheets were wet from humidity and no air coming in. I feel when you are charging rates such as these and offer a room with a view, you should get just that! The hotel is old and could use an upgrade in the ac department! The front desk staff didn't even call the room to see if everything was ok with the room. The elevator took literally 12 minutes to get to the 6th floor. Only 1 elevator working! The pool was closed down for a private party (or something). Must be nice! Never mind the other 1000 guest that wanted to use it! I was highly disappointed and won't stay here again!

Very Nice hotel close to the Beach

The hotel is near to town also and its very nice, we only have one problem, was the Beds because the room info said that also a Roll bed could be into the room in case a guest wants to join but that is not true. In double Queens rooms thoes beds are not allow.
