“Great Time”

The hotel and accommodations were great. It was clean and like being at home. The pool area was beautiful. Great restaurants and fishing. The only down side I could say is we went off season Aug/Sept told very quiet months. So the hotel had no check in open or restaurants on site. Not a big deal because just up the street you had all sorts of places. I will most returning and already recommended the place to my family. Thanks

Area recommendations
Did not travel far but many area's just off the main street Collier to go to. Spent most of the time fishing.

“Big disappointment”

Front desk closes at 6 and there was no late checkin - key wouldn't work and we had already taken our luggage up - did not come up and help to unlock the door - instead moved us to another room which was not as nice as the one we had originally (could see in the window of the first room). Did come up to the next room and I told person not to leave until we made sure door opened. Bed was hard! Room was nice - could tell it was old room that had been updated - could have been a very pleasant stay but this was not a good first impression. Grounds are very nice...

Area recommendations
Stay closer to the water!
Dining
Don't go to the Islander Restaurant for seafood - my husband got grouper special - expecting fresh seafood this close to the ocean - instead got glorified fish sticks. Do go to Trail Cafe and Grill for breakfast - excellent omelets - wonderful french toast options!

“Old Marco Island Inn - would go back in a heartbeat!”

My family and I were pleasantly surprised when we entered our suite. It was so airy and spacious that we felt quite at home. We did not expect a full kitchen and we loved the fact that we could cook breakfast and sit comfortably and enjoy it. We would definitely recommend Old Marco Island Inn to family and friends!

“Lovely Marco Island Bungalo”

Very quiet, clean room with a nice screened in porch. Was traveling for work, so was unable to enjoy much else, but would love to return to this hotel.

“Would stay there again”

This is an older hotel that is very well maintained. We had a two bedroom condo that was very clean and well stocked, with daily maid service. Nice screened in porch. Walking distance to Snook Inn Restaurant. Located on a quiet street in a residential neighborhood. We would definitely stay there again. Well worth the very reasonable price..

“SouthFL”

The room was nice. Spacious. Clean.was very comfortable. Receptionist was friendly.

When to go
In the summer
Outdoors or beach
Tiger beach doesn't hav a front to the ocean. The south beach in Marco island is nicer and get ready to collect shells.
