hotel in a good location in Naples

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: vintage style, good location
Cons: Very loud AC that bothers sleep.
Friendly hotel stuff. The front desk manager gave good advises of things to do. Lovely vintage feel. Terribly loud AC in the room. That is the only thing that made me to give lower rate.

Trianon Old Naples

Posted Aug 23, 2014
Pros: The continental breakfast, the location, and the decor.
Cons: Some of the front desk personnel need to improve their customer service skills. The foul odor coming from the dumpster near the pool area.
Location: Enjoyed the shops and restaurants on 5th Avenue.
This hotel's architecture is beautiful inside and outside. The continental breakfast was a lovely way to start the day. We enjoyed pre-packaged bagels, muffins, toast, cereal, juice, coffee and tea. Fresh oranges and apples were also available. Breakfast was served on very pretty china, which added an extra flair to our day. The hotel was clean and maintained. The front desk clerk, Adam, was especially friendly when he was on duty. The hotel is centrally located in downtown Naples and was an easy walk to the shops on 5th Avenue. Unfortunately, we had some disappointing experiences while staying at the Trianon. First, the hotel's internet router was not strong enough to allow the guests to successfully access the internet. We found out that the hotel charges $7.00 per half hour to use the hotel's computer, which is located on a tiny desk in a hallway. This charge is a bit pricey considering that the computer was nothing special and located in a hallway rather than a business center. Even though the pool area is small, it is clean and quiet. The hotel staff should pay closer attention to making the sure the dumpster area outside the pool is kept clean, because there was a horrible odor coming from that area that made it difficult to enjoy the pool. The view from the rooms leave a lot to be desired. The store next door to the hotel had a creepy skull and cross bones beach towel displayed in the store's window. Not appreciated when vacationing in Naples, FL.

Ideal hotel in ideal location

Posted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: Location, staff, comfort of the room
Cons: the direct surroundings of the hotel. Unfortunately our room and balcony overlooked a car park!
Location: beautiful beach; exclusive shops and restaurants; wonderful residential homes; short drive (40 mins) to Everglade City.
We booked the Trianon due to the very reasonable price and the location near 5th Avenue. As it was cheaper than other hotels we weren't sure what to expect, but we were very pleasantly surprised with both the quality and service provided. The reception staff were always very helpful and cheerful, the room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was more than sufficient. The key to the hotel is the location, just 5 minutes walk to 5th avenue shops and restaurants, yet far enough away to be quiet and relaxing, and just 15 mins walk to the beach. We liked it so much we stayed an extra night and would certainly return if or when we visit Naples again.

wonderful location

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: the ambience, it is a boutique hotel and does not have the noise and clamor of the larger chains
Cons: a more substantial breakfast
Location: tin city for chartering boats for fishing or sightseeing. good restaurants nearby
the location of the hotel is accessible to naples fifth ave for great restaurants and shopping. the setting is very beautiful. a car might be necessary to explore the nearby venetian village and the restaurants on us 41. the morning breakfast is sparse and there is no mini refridge in the room.

We were very pleasantly surprised with our experience at this hotel. It had an almost European atmosphere that was classy yet not over done. The staff was friendly and quite helpful. Resturants and shopping were close by. I would highly recommend a stay here.
