Back againPosted Jul 23, 2014
We have been here quite a few times, first back in 1992 when it was The Registry, then a few times when it was The Naples Grande. Still as lovely as ever as The Waldorf, couldn't ask for more from a hotel or resort. Perfection!

Waldorf AstoriaPosted Jul 21, 2014
My family and i had a great time at this hotel. The hotel provided us with four free drinks coupons. The Waldorf is a very kid friendly pool, and it has a great water slide that the kids enjoyed.

This was a nice hotel. I would recommend it to a friend. But I think doing some updates would make it better.

Not so great Bungalow.Posted Jul 8, 2014
Arrived to a beautiful resort, but we stayed in a bungalow which is next to the main tower. Bungalow buildings look worn, old. Even the parking lot needs a make over and lights were out, so very dark when coming back late. Walked up to bungalow door which had dirt and scuffs all over it. Went inside to find stains ALL OVER the carpet, no linens or pillows for the pull out couch, bathroom door didn't lock or close completely, bathroom faucet was loose and constantly leaking, ants on bathroom floor and no extra towels as requested two days before arrival. When I called to get linens, they were delivered quickly, but a big brown stain was on one sheet. After encountering so many issues with our room, I called to speak with the Manager. She was very helpful and friendly. She ended up giving us a better room rate and offered us a new room, also to have an Engineer fix the issues. We opted not to change rooms, due to the hassle moving all our stuff and kids. The resort amenities were amazing, the food was incredible, beach is beautiful, staff was awesome! It's just that when you pay to stay at The Waldorf Astoria, we expected our room to be amazing. Overall, the bungalows need a make over and next time we'll stay in main tower.

Pros: the beach was ice
Cons: staff knowledge of hotel info and definitely the airconditioning !!
at first glance it was perfect ! until we reached the front desk, the attendant at check in seemed to be either tired or not in a very joyful mood. The room I must say was very nice ,it had 2 open balconies which had a great view of the city of Naples. The beach was nice and so was the pool but unfortunately when it came time to go to bed..... the bed leaned to one side and it was very warm in the room ! the next door guest kept slamming the sliding glass door and were very loud but in all fairness that's not the hotels fault. I probably would not re-visit.

Convenient for getting around the area for businesPosted Jul 6, 2014
Cons: Food access. Clearer outline of costs.
Annoyed at the hidden "resort fees" Did not need those services so upset I had to pay for them. Poor access to restaurant for quick food. Good valet service. Pleasant staff. did not feel like a "Waldorf Astoria"
