Vandy VisitPosted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Very friendly to college families!
Cons: It would be nice to have a fridge or microwave, but given the price and the neighborhood, it's acceptable not to have them.
Location: So many choices for restaurants, grocery, gelato, cupcakes right next to the hotel plus easy access to Target which is necessary for college move ins.
Great price for a hotel with easy access to Vanderbilt. Clean and comfy in a great community with lots of nearby amenities.

Nice, clean quiet.Posted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness, quiet, location.
Cons: More Fruit selections at breakfast and don't water down the OJ. More seating area in the breakfast eating area.
Location: Very close to Nashville, TN. Just by driving the extra 10 minutes, you save a lot per night compared to hotels in Nashville.
Check in was quick. The rooms were clean and quiet. The breakfast was nice, but could have included some more fruit. The only fruit was some apples. The orange juice was watered down. The breakfast area needs to be larger as there isn't enough seating. I felt the price was a little high.

Nice HotelPosted Jul 21, 2014
The hotel was nice and surprising quiet. The only downfall was our room had no microwave or refrigerator, so my food had to sit out all night.

Good for my night and very comfortable. Staff were as helpful as they needed to be, but not overly polite when I got there early. I understood not being able to check in, but when I asked about nearby places to eat, I was handed a list. Personal interaction at that point would have made me feel more welcome, not in the way.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. It is in need of a few renovations, but that did not interfere with our stay at all. Would definitely return to this hotel on our next trip to Nashville!

Enjoyable stay at the Baymont Inn in Nashville.Posted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness of rooms.
Cons: Guests who sit and visit in the break room after they eat.
Location: Close to shopping centers.
We really enjoyed our stay at your Hotel. In recent years I have stayed in other hotels that were no where near as well kept as your hotel was. We had clean towels, warm water, comfortable beds and a nice warm breakfast every morning. Both staff at front desk and housekeeping staff were very polite. The location was also very convenient.

Clean, convenientPosted May 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
We are locals that stayed here while our floors were being refinished. It was clean and the beds firm but comfortable. The front staff was adequately nice. Just don't choose this hotel because of the free breakfast. It was just passable as adequate. The first day the "hot" water for tea was just lukewarm, the bins out of choices with 45 minutes to go, and the eggs tiny balls of bland inedible yellow stuff. I have stayed in hotels across the country almost exclusively with free breakfasts, and this place rates in the lower two of all I've experienced. This is a great location as far as safety and convenience, so if you bypass the need for breakfast, it is a good price and choice for going out to explore Nashville without being in the downtown price category or crowds.
