Nashville hotel

Posted Sep 20, 2014
Pros: Staff were fine and tried to help when I had a problem with British Airways booking for steamboat dinner
Cons: Fine as is, but would pick hotel nearer to the 'downtown' area.
Location: Irish bar within 5 minutes walk
Nothing wrong with hotel except there is a 20 minute walk down to the bars/ music area. There are nearer hotels because why else would you go to Nashville except to experience the music scene.

Too far from Broadway

Posted Aug 8, 2014
Pros: Beds were comfortably and rooms very clean.
Cons: Free shuttle!
Location: Location was a little far from Broadway and we didn't go out in the area as there was a lot of construction going on near and at hotel!
Hotel was clean, had a decent breakfast but the shuttle they supply charges more than a taxi ride which was a turn off. Didn't use the pool as we were to busy doing other things, but it looked clean. Pop machines all had no water bottles in them the whole 4 days we were there which should be filled as it's every hot there in august!

Great Place to Go, lots of fun, old hotel

Posted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: The breakfast in the morning was really good
Cons: The coffee in the front lobby was very bad, bitter tasting and may have been sitting in the pot for a long time as it was only warm.
Location: The location of the hotel was not bad, it was only $10 to take a cab into the downtown area. The Spagetti Factory was great place to eat.
This hotel is a old and tired. This was our first stay in Nashville and we were not too sure about hotel location vs the downtown location so we went with lower price. When we arrived at the hotel we were a little surprised how old the hotel looked, very old looking decorations in the main lobby area. There were several workers scrubbing and cleaning, however they could not speak english when we asked any questions about the hotel. For the 2 days we were at the hotel all we heard was drilling and pounding and lot of noise from people working in the hallways. Our room was freshly painted, but still old and tired looking. The bed was very uncomfortable, and the pillows were really bad to sleep on. The hotel front desk people were not too cheery, they did not really help much when we were asking about places to eat, and just in general not friendly people. The morning breakfast was good, lots of food. No issues with that. The general area were the hotel is located there is a lot of construction in the general area, building, dust and just not a good place to stay right now, maybe in a few months when the construction is done it would be better. The price of the hotel is good if you are only looking for an inexpensive place to stay and you are not to worried about spending too much time in your hotel and you are just there to enjoy the nightlife in Nashville. Nashville is the best great fun, music and food.

Pleasant stay

Posted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: comfortable rooms, nice clean pool, decent breakfast, good location
Cons: price the hotel accordingly
The hotel does not make a great first impression. The exterior is dated and the lobby could use some work. The elevators and hallways seem old and musty. The room however was very comfortable. Great mattress, clean bedding, excellent fan. Still a little pricey for what you get but still a good experience.

hotel was a pleasure to stay at, clean comfortable, good breakfast available. however, price paid was higher than quoted at the hotel desk for the Monday and Tuesday night by $30.00 per night.
