“Most of our room had undergone some remolding. The bed was extremely comfortable .”

Some remodeling gone on. Bed was Wonderful and the bath has new tile and granite, lovely. But, the carpet was in very bad shape inside the room as well as the hallways . Drapes had holes in them and the early morning sun came thru. We were on the 3rd floor. I vote finish either a whole room / floor instead of having so much transition. But, over all the bed was sooo comfortable and breakfast was very good. Two main goals were achieved and check in was like 2 mins. We would stay here again hopefully with finished rooms. Price was nice too.

Wanted something within walking distance of clubs and night life for 10y anniversary. Website stated was within two to four miles but, didn't state that you had to get of the busy pike to get to entertainment...For our purpose I would get a place right in the middle of music row..But, just to visit Nashville, the area we stayed was close enough. Disappointed that the mall and shopping was not back to par from the flood over a year ago as most businesses had not bothered to start renovations at all.
Must see
History buffs --The Hermitage, beautiful even in winter and well maintained. Bring your AAA card for really good discounts. Would recomend the extra wagon ride tour if your about how the working plantation really ran. Guide was excellant.
Nightlife
Printers Alley...Hundreds of live muscians, even if counrty isn't your thing, so much talent !!! Can find music for everyone, Even on the street corners if the bar scene isn't for you.
Events and shows
The Ice show & the Rockettes.. Ice show was a little pricey, but, it's Christmas.

“Satisfactory 2.5 star hotel”

Good thing about this hotel is that it has a free breakfast buffet and free wifi. I am not really impressed with this hotel as much as I thought I would be. It has a 4.5 guest rating from expedia but don't really agree with it. Hallway smelled Lysol, carpet needs to be changed and staff were not as accommodating as they should be. Probably during the time we checked in, the hotel was fully booked because our room was way at the back of the hotel. It was a long walk for us to get to our room. We have been staying to 8 different hotels for this 2 weeks vacation and this hotel was the last one we were staying and by far was the least of the hotels I would recommend to stay unless one is on a tight budget.

“Great Hotel, Great Value, Great Location, GREAT BREAKFAST”

First things first, the location of the hotel was great. It was super close to the highway and easily accessible from the airport. Located in a sort of "hotel mall" with dozens of other hotels around. The staff was super friendly and very knowledgeable about local attractions. Check in and check out were a breeze, which isn't often the case. The "continental" breakfast you get at most places is nothing but sugar filled pastries and dried cereal that's usually picked over by the time you make it down there. The hot breakfast at the club was anything but. Yes there were muffins and dry cereal, but there was also fresh fruit, yogurt, milk, juices, eggs, potatoes, biscuits & gravy, sausage or bacon, bread for toast, bagels, and a waffle station. We stayed for 4 days and never got tired of it. We were full until late lunch only added to the savings. I want to add that the buffet was very well attended to. Never messy, always stocked, and there was always staff around if you needed something. One morning we didn't make it down until 15 minutes before they closed and there was still a good amount left. The style of the hotel was also pretty nice. We would tell that they were making updates consistently. We saw stacks of tile in the hallways and I used a beautifully renovated bathroom near the front desk. Over all given the friendliness, cleanliness, and affordability I would say it would be hard NOT to stay here again. We highly recommend. :)

Almost anywhere you stay in Nashville is close to something exciting. We stayed near the airport for accessibility and went downtown nearly every night.

West End and 5th Ave. Great food on West End and my wife and I love browsing Art Studios and we found some wonderful studios on 5th Ave. Also the Belle Meade Plantation was a real treat. The wine was out of this world.

“The suite was terrible.”

Booked the suite. The sofa was sunk in the middle-no real way to sit on it comfortably. Hotel does not have roll aways and I went with my parents who I gave the bedroon to.The refrigerator door was broken. The suite definitely needed to be updated. We to switched to a 2 queen room and was very satisfied with the rest of our stay. The manager was cold. The breakfast was great. Area had plenty of tables, cloth napkins, great food choices. I would recommend this hotel only for the 2 bed queen rooms NOT THE SUITE

Belle Meade plantation was great. The tour explained the happenings surrounding Nashville which I was not aware of thru other plantations tours. The house is furnished with the furniture of the period and exstremely interesting. Went to the opry which was a blast.

“Would stay again”

Very nice hotel. Not crazy about not being able to get a smoking room...there aren't any. Had microwave and refrigerator. Could have used more water pressure in the shower, but all in all a good clean room. Not many eating places in the immediate area, but just ask around to get directions. Staff helpful with questions. Hot and cold continental breakfast, a couple free drinks in the evening.

Area recommendations
Depending on what you are wanting to see, the downtown hotels are close to the action, or Opryland is on the east side of town.
Getting around
It's probably worth the extra money to be picked up from your hotel by Grey Lines Nashville to take all the various tours. Traffic is horrendous and you don't have to worry about parking. They take you home when you are finished.

“Disgusting Carpets”

The carpets were disgusting--stains from who knows what, crusty stuff, and little bits of trash all over it. They simply have not vacuumed in a long time. Who knows when the last time it was shampooed, if ever. I would not touch step on it with my bare feet. The breakfast was better than most with hot food (eggs, potatoes, meats, waffles, etc.) and decent coffee. The staff was nice. I liked that it had an exercise room and free wifi. However, I could not stay in a place with a carpet like that again.

“More than we expected.”

We were very happy with our recent stay at Club-Hotel Nashville. The lobby area was very welcoming and the staff were very nice. When we got to our room, we were surprised at how large and comfortable it was. It was clean and very nice. The breakfast buffet was hot and delicious and we also enjoyed the wine and cocktail reception in the evening. There were some minor cosmetic issues around the elevator area that were less than inviting (in need of updating), but overall we were very pleased with this hotel and would be willing to stay again when we are in the Nashville area.

“The stained shirt.”

not happy with the service of the front desk. The iron in the room had melted plastic on it, which ended up on my D & G shirt. My wife and I had to be at a benifit in two hours. We told the front desk of the problem. They replied with here's another iron and theres a K-Mart up the street. This is unacceptable. Overall we are completely sick of the service provided.
