We had a very nice stay at the hotel. We were very close to the things we wanted to do while in Nashville. That was a relief not to have to do much driving. We will stay here again when in Nashville.

Good, inexpensive hotel. Convenient to airport

Posted Dec 5, 2014
Certainly good for the money. Breakfast was standard but hot and pretty good (and free) and internet was free, which are always important to me. There was a cocktail hour Mon-Thurs and I had some free wine which was really nice. Gym was tiny but there was an elliptical so that was good. Hotel shuttle was very responsive and the driver was pleasant, safe, and helpful. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room itself was fine - quiet, comfortable. There were a lot of very old guests, which wasn't necessarily good or bad, it was just noticeable. I stayed for an interview at Vanderbilt, and it was around a 15 minute cab to downtown (but more - around 25 min with morning traffic).

disappointed

Posted Dec 4, 2014
Pros: location and reasonable rates
Cons: see the aforementioned items
Location: near opry mall/grand ole opry and downtown
Front desk staff more interested in eating their meal at the desk and what's on each other's phones than the customer standing directly in front of them. There was a pile of silverware that sat on a table at the end of the hall our entire 3 day stay. Apparently the housekeeping staff either doesn't have access to or doesn't know how to use the attachment on the vacuum cleaner that cleans the corners where the wall meets the floor. Screen falling out of the window and windows themselves obviously don't get cleaned often enough. Enough said, you decide if you want to stay here. Old remodeled property that apparently has management that doesn't pay enough attention to the details.

Niece hotel, good service, great breakfast buffet

Posted Dec 2, 2014
Pros: The buffet breakfast and dinner which was free and very good.
Cons: Indoor pool instead of outdoor one.
Location: Good location, plenty to do as well as great mall near by for shopping.
We were happy with the hotel and impressed with breakfast and dinner buffet. Carpet in our room could be cleaned better and bathtub drain lock was broken so I could not take bath. Other than that the room was clean and comfortable. Good value for the money.

Very nice stay

Pros: The breakfast bar and evening bar with cocktails
Cons: the rooms could use new carpet
Location: stores and restaurants near by
Nice ,quiet and clean hotel. This is my second time staying here. Love the free breakfast in the morning and the light salad bar and cocktails in the evening. Close to stores, gas and restaurants.

Affordable but not great.

Two queen beds for less than 100 a night is a good deal in Nashville, so you know it isn't perfect. It seemed to be older and needing some repair. The bathroom had some damage and the shower head was spraying weird, like something had come apart inside. The grout was pink in the bathroom. There was some sort of stain and sticky film in the carpet by the bathroom. The beds were fairly comfortable, there was a mini-fridge and microwave. If you're looking for a decent place to stay with 2 queen beds on a budget, this is it. If you are very particular, you probably want to look elsewhere.

This was a great hotel for a fantastic price! The food at the evening cocktail time and the complimentary breakfast was good and the room was very nice and comfortable. I will be staying there again in the future.

terrible hotel

Posted Nov 26, 2014
Pros: nothing
Cons: rooms need updated, mattresses need replaced, rooms need sprayed for ants
Location: location was good - close to amenities.
the room had ants, was grungy, very out dated - extremely disappointed in being booked into this hotel - thought you were supposed to check these places out first.
