we have stayed there before, close to everythingPosted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: Very helpful staff! book it on feb 22 and they couldn't find Our name because it was under my Husband (JR.) not his first name.
Cons: elevator to second floor for those that have trouble with stairs, we would love that!
Location: The best! lots of shopping and our favorite restaurant!!
Need a elevator to the second floor it's very hard to climb stairs. The hotel staff was great about exchanging our room to the first floor. Even when all they had left was a handicap room. Small room for two, needed a queen bed.But very Thankful not to have to climb stairs.

Aging propertyPosted Nov 15, 2014
Location: It was a bit difficult to find since it is behind the road-front motels. We had to call to get specific instructions for locating it.
The staff as far as the front desk, housekeeping, and the breakfast attendant were all very pleasant and friendly. The building itself is obviously aging, i.e. crumbling concrete, and some chipped paint. The ice machine had been turned off 'for the winter'. The room appeared neat and clean, however the heat had been left on the highest setting and you could have baked a turkey in there when we arrived. There was obvious mold/mildew on the tub surround, but not the tub itself. All of the appliances and lamps were in working order, and the shower had a decent flow. The close proximity to the Cracker Barrel was nice, and the breakfast selections (at the motel) were nicely presented and tasty, though the seating area was somewhat limited. It's not a place where I would spend an entire vacation, but it was adequate for our one night stay.

I wish that we didn't have to pay for breakfast, but otherwise our stay was fantastic! Our room was clean and our service was great. The night staff when we checked in was helpful.

Good bang for the buck!Posted Apr 14, 2014
Room was adequate and bed very comfortable. Only concern was the adjoining wall between rooms let in more noise than I wanted.

Found old used wash cloth in shower. Most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in. Easy accesses to 65

Good location for me...and that was about it.Posted Feb 12, 2014
Good location, close to I-65, cheap...and that was about it. Dingy, older motel. Door had problems shutting, small amount of mold growing in shower, and walking outside to get a Coke or breakfast is an issue in 10 degree weather.

Moderately clean with good breakfastPosted Oct 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
Property is wearing out and cleanliness is passable tho not in any sense "spotless" but breakfast is good.
