Front Desk, especially at check in, was WONDERFUL

Posted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: Ease to the interstate and travel - clean - well maintained - staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The Breakfast Bar could certainly be improved. It was not ready on time - there was no sausage as advertised - the eggs were horrible
Location: We really didn't do anything except relax. Very near to the interstate and not too far from the downtown area, easy commute.
Very clean. The staff, especially the Front Desk at check in was FANTASTIC. So friendly and helpful and such a pleasant person and personality. I will stay at this motel again in the future.

Okay but needs updating.

Posted Aug 22, 2014
Pros: We were disappointed with this motel.
Cons: New flat screen hi-def TVs and improved, less noisy a/c units would improve this motel.
Location: This location had little at the exit in the way of restaurants.
We stayed at this motel for two nights August 19 and 20th, 2014. We were given a handicap room even though we were not handicapped, so there was no tub. We were surprised there was an old fashioned tube TV that sat on a low dresser which made watching from bed difficult. I could see where painting has happened but it was poorly done in so many places. The other annoyance is the air conditioner! So few places (of the caliber of Country Inn and Suites) still have those noisy a/c - heating units under the windows. Heating and air conditioning should be from units on the roof and regulated from a wall thermostat. The a/c was so noisy when the blower came on it would awaken us. Breakfast was the usual fare but then microwave's buttons were worn through the plastic and the toaster regulating knobs were also worn so one could not tell what was dark or light. I finally just held the bread down manually to get the bread toasted. We would not stay here again.

Rude Front Desk

Posted Aug 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
The stay was okay the first day, until the last day I had to deal with a rude front desk person when I discussed extending my stay. I would never return to this location or recommend this hotel because as this person stated "the Hotel is looking out for their own interest and not the customers". I would rate this hotel higher had it not been for the rudeness of the front desk. I also was unable to locate hotel luggage carts when I arrived and left. I discovered that the hotel employees use the hotel luggage carts to move around boxes in the facility.

A little disappointed

Posted Aug 4, 2014 on Hotels.com
I was looking for a place to accommodate the size of my party. I had my two year daughter and my seventeen year old son with me. My daughter sleeps very wild so I needed a King-size bed, in which I might add was very comfortable. I liked the fact that they offered a sofa-bed in a separate room. My son was able to sleep there. This gave the both of us a little privacy. Even though the hotel rooms were outdated, I needed the space it provided. I was disappointed to see the a dirty pair of socks in the middle of the living space that didn't belong to either of us. There were a few things on the floor beside the tv stand which indicates that it hadn't been vacuumed. The bathroom tub was dirty. I'm glad I always bring cleaner and disinfectant when I travel. I'm not sure if the room was thoroughly cleaned for a new guest. It was nice to have an option of free breakfast but everything was so misplaced and under-managed that I chose not to eat. The juice machine needed attention. After requesting someone refill the machine, someone gladly took care of it. Overall, the staff was very friendly. The room needed a lot more TLC.

This hotel really needed some updating. Some of the furniture looked like it was from the 70s/80s. Breakfast was okay.

Nice hotel, close to interstate and attractions.

Posted Jul 27, 2014
Pros: Good location and easy to navigate to attractions downtown and Opryland.
Cons: Air purifier or oil scented dispenser could help.
Location: Within 10 minutes to downtown and Opryland.
Very good location. Very good free breakfast. Nice rooms but had a smell in one room that was offensive. Next room we received was fine.
