unpleasant surprise

Pros: nothing as far as the hotel itself but the location is good.
Cons: not much due to the age of the hotel so they should lower the price.
Location: location is just off I-40 exit with plenty of eating places.
the hotel looked a lot better online than it did in person. the first room we were given had a musty smell. the second room had an old ladies perfume smell. needless to say we were disappointed especially for the price.

Pros: Expedia
Cons: Bathroom.
Location: By the airport traffic was a mess when I left.
Room was nice and up to date, handy cap bar was broken and vanity showed a lot of wear.

Nice hotel but they need to utilize the air conditioning in the hotel. It was very warm in the hallways and the elevator. Breakfast was good.

Bathroom was a bit small, but the room was fairly nice and breakfast was tasty. Television set is better than average for a hotel.

nice hotel close to the airport

Pros: close to airport and nice management
Cons: outside noise should be controlled
Location: close to many stores in case needed. liquor and wine stores were unfortunately closed. What a conservatism. We are in the 21 century!!!!
Nice breakfast. The guy from Eritrea was very nice and helpful. He should get a raise.

Pros: enjoyed peace and quiet
Cons: The blanket in the plastic bag needs to be checked for stains and holes. Thank you!
Location: Close to the interstate, airport, and gas station.
I stayed 2 nights and enjoyed peace and quiet. I rested well. I enjoyed the spa tub, which helped me relax. Internet service is excellent and free. Morning breakfast was good and hot. Thank you Country Inn & Suites by Carlson!

Pros: Close to airport.
Cons: Clean up and modernize.
Location: I was there to get to the airport the next morning.
There was an inch of outside light around the entry door, top bottom and sides. It was very noisy and not what I have experienced in the past. It was a two queen room and was very small.

Nice hotel to sleep

We didn't spend much time at the hotel. Renovations were ongoing. One morning we waited for carpet to be cut in the garage before we could leave. The next morning, we had to move out car before 8 am to avoid the same situation. Most of the parking lot was blocked off. The toilet was installed too close to the bathroom door, so the door could not open all the way. The staff totally made up for it though- super friendly and courteous.

Under renovation- no excuse for bad housekeeping

upon arrival...Room had extremely ill fitting sheets and was poorly made. Used soap on sink dish. Wet folded face towels. Old glass stained message pads. Bathroom sink that wouldn't drain & trickles of water for shower. No Mgr. on staff when we called upon arrival that evening. Next morning, at breakfast, roach was crawling on counter top amongst the food.
