Disappointed... for a Nice Hotel

Posted Mar 23, 2014
Pros: Affordable and clean.
Cons: Follow through from staff and Expedia in general.
Location: It was a stop over for our drive trip to the panhandle of Florida. Just a place to rest weary bones from a long drive.
Staff did their jobs as we checked in but no more, They were far from being host, Check in and move on. We booked a room with two queen sized beds. Instead we were told Expedia requested a King with a sleeper sofa. Hotel front desk staff said at check in that they would find a hotel dolly because we were on the second level, none were in the lobby or could be found nearby and we were on the far side of the complex. No one showed up... I had to find one on my own. There were no linens in the room, so we had to call the front desk for those. They did bring them, but twenty minutes later. It was 10:30pm and they had plenty of staff for that time of night. Lastly, finding a hotel dolly in the morning was impossible so we had to lugg all our stuitcases and belonging down and out to the car in half a dozen trips. The room was comfortable, clean and in great shape. Sleeper sofa... glad I did not sleep on it, our two kids did and they were not comfortable. Good price overall, but we were just disappointed overall and for 100+ a night on a weekday, I expect more.A

Great Staff!

Posted Dec 29, 2013
We have stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions, and on both occasions the staff were exceptional. We've stayed in several different Nashville/Brentwood hotels over the years while visiting family, but the Courtyard staff really are outstanding. Not only was absolutely everyone we came across friendly, but they were incredibly helpful and seemed to go out of their way to be both helpful and kind. What a treat! We'll definitely stay there again on our next trip to Nashville.

Business/Pleasure

Pros: Staff mostly......
Cons: Better training for the staff and management,
Brought my wife and 9 month old with me on a business trip, get there and the elevators are broken with no fix in sight and they put us on the second floor, not too bright with a 9 month old. Booked with breakfast included but still had check my bill since they charged me anyway. Staff seemed very ill prepared to offer the level of professionalism I get when I stay at the Hyatt Place across the freeway. Likely won't ever go back.

Nice, clean hotel - friendly staff.

Posted Sep 3, 2013
Cons: Free breakfast would be good.
Location: Right off I-65 very easy to find and get to. shopping nearby and downtown just minutes away.
My husband and I stayed here for just one night in August. Location is great, just off I-65 near restaurants and shopping. Rooms were clean and well-equipped. I really liked the bedding - very comfortable. Only down-side was that they were doing some maintenance in the lobby reinforcing the ceiling and there were plastic dropcloths on all the furniture, but that really can't be helped. And they removed it during breakfast. Overall it was pretty good.

Easy access to downtown

Posted Jun 12, 2013
Pros: Extremely clean and comfortable room with great amenities. Easy access to downtown via the Franklin Pike or I-65. Staff very friendly, non-intrusive
Cons: The only minor blip was there seemed to be a slight misunderstanding that our stay included full breakfast. But in the end they did honor it.
Location: 5 to 10 minutes to downtown. Plenty of places to eat right in Brentwood, also.
Upon initially seeing the property, it looked like an older Courtyard. But once inside, it was newly and nicely renovated. And our stay was enjoyable in every way.

Comfortable but pricey!

Posted Apr 30, 2013
Pros: Comfortable bed and desk area
Cons: Stingy with amenities
Location: Location was easily accessible.
We were disappointed that there was not even coffee in the lobby for guests unless you wanted to pay an additional $3+ per cup. And although there was a coffee pot in the room, there was only one regular packet of coffee to go in it. it only made one cup, and we had registered for two guests. The drink prices were exorbitant, even on "happy hour." The room was extremely comfortable though and the staff was nice.
