Perfect hotel for a trip on a budget

Posted May 2, 2015
My husband and I went to Nashville for the country music marathon and decided to stay here because it was much less expensive then the hotels located in downtown. It was exactly what we needed! The staff we're so helpful and friendly, made us feel like we we're old friends. They had water for the runners and opened up the free breakfast early for the runners on race day. They also offer round trip shuttle rides into downtown so it didn't matter that we weren't staying right in the heart of downtown. Plus you could walk to the Grand Ole Opry from the hotel! If your not looking for luxury, this is the place to stay.

Close to opry, great staff, affordable

Posted Apr 27, 2015
We stayed here on a couples weekend to experience Nashville. It was an affordable hotel when all of the others increased their prices for the marathon downtown. Misha at the front desk was absolutely one of the most genuine people I have met! When we checked in, it was so busy and chaotic. She was kind, calm, helpful, and hilarious! The rooms in the hotel were a little outdated, but we were there to see Nashville not the hotel! The rooms were clean, decent, no bugs. The staff made the stay perfect! Any questions we had were answered immediately, there was a shuttle service, the breakfast was not substantial, and the coffee was pretty good. Overall, we would stay there again.

Convenient to Grand Old Oprey, shops and town

Hotel carpeting dirty on entry halls but room clean. Beds very comfortable. Breakfast area tiny so on a busy weekend hard to find a spot. Mostly carbs for breakfast food. Staff excellent at hospitality. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location for all your Nashville experiences

Posted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: Staff, we made some booking changes and they were very helpful and pleasant. Price. location. Pet friendly.
Cons: One of our rooms had a mildew smell. The other smelled of residual cigarette smoke for a day.
Location: Perfect for anything you want to do in the Nashville area. Various convention centers, Grand Ole Opry, shopping. Lots of restaurants, music.
Hotel was less than 20minutes from Music City Convention Center , Country Music Hall of Fame and the airport. Less than 5 minutes from Grand Ole Opry, Opry mall, General Lee Paddleboat and Dukes of Hazzard museum. Go karts and mini golf next door. Allows dogs. Free wifi and breakfast. Only 1-1 1/2 hour from many Kentucky sights like Mammoth Cave, Lost Cave, And Corvette museum. Staff were very accommodating.

Run down rooms

Posted Apr 16, 2015
Cons: Room aesthetics, clean sheets from the very beginning.
Location: Mini golf and go karts, Cracker Barrel restaurant
The first set of sheets and comforters had stains on them from both beds. The staff was very helpful and quick to get us clean sheets but the damage had been done. The roof had some spots where there had been a water leak and the wall paper was gross and peeling away from the wall in some spots.

A good hotel near Opryland.

Posted Apr 13, 2015
We wanted to visit both Nashville downtown & Opryland. We chose to stay near Opryland as parking in downtown Nashville is difficult & expensive. Visiting Opryland, Opry Mills and The Grand Ole Opry was easy from this hotel, with free parking at Opry Mills. There is a shuttle available to downtown Nashville from this hotel or public transport but that is a longer journey.

Pros: convenient & friendly staff.
Cons: the hot breakfast...not so hot. we were only offered muffins, toast, cereal & juice/coffee. (and fruit/yogurt) no hot food...
Location: lots of things to do in the area - cooter's place, willie nelsons store, museums, stores - downtown & lots of restaurants/bars to enjoy.
staff was friendly & always willing to accomodate. convenient as needed. would stay again for our next visit.

Convenient location. Good price

Posted Apr 8, 2015
Pros: cheap, clean, location
Cons: update rooms, smoky smell in hallway.
Location: Gaylord Opryland Hotel, Mall, Grand Ole Opry, Great BBQ restaurant, IMAX.
This hotel was located very near to the conference center and was an affordable choice. Nothing fancy, but our room was clean and the hotel staff was extremely helpful and polite. We got in very early (9am) and they were able to accommodate us and our early check-in.
