“Cant Wait to Go Back”

Very Nice, definitely going back to Nashville!. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Plus a short cab ride to downtown Nash Vegas!

“Quiet & Comfortable”

The suite they put us in was wonderful with all the amenities. The food at their cafe was excellant - especially the breakfast buffet. I think we only got such a good rate was because the room needed some minor repairs (the plumbing for the shower leaked into the closet). This hotel is easily accessed.

“Good Hotel -would return again”

This is my second time staying at a Doubletree and I found it to be very nice. However, two things that I would suggest they change: First - Along with the sheer curtains that close completely have the drapes close completely as well in the bedroom area. This will give the guest a sense of privacy while getting dressed. The living room area does not have to have drapes that close completely as the sheer drapes are good enought for this area. Second - Make sure Housekeeping makes up the room. I was there for an overnight stay and when I returned to my room at 10:00 pm that room had not been made up.I am hardly messy, but it is nice to find your room in neat order.

Area recommendations

Hillsboro was very nice and good for breakfast at the Pancake Pantry. For dinner the Whiskey Kitchen or Rumours. If you want a lively atmosphere with TVs go to Whiskey Kitchen if you want a quieter place to dine, I suggest Rumours. If you have time for a side trip, I suggest the Belle Meade Plantation. The staff is very knowledgeable about the history of the plantation and friendly to answer any questions you may have - and if you like there is a wine tasting available at the end of the tour.

“very happy!”

This was our first stay inn a Double tree suite. We loved it! the bed was ultra comfortable. Very spacious and well worth the money! We defenitly return. We visit nashville a couple times a year!

We were a bit irritated when we arrived at 11a and could not check in, however came back aty 3p the check in time and our rooms were not ready still. They knew we were already in town...... Overall the rooms were nice and large.

“Convenient, clean, friendly place to stay”

Hotel was excellent. Close to airport. No more than 20 minutes to almost all Nashville activities - Downtown, Grand Ole Opry, etc. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Always offered great advice when asked. Remembered us from day to day and asked if their suggestions were satisfactory. Every thing was clean. Pool area was very well kept and helpful. Buffet breakfast was very convenient and satisfying. Only con - We expected the 2 room suite to be a little more roomy, but it accomdated the 3 of us pretty well anyway.

“Best stay and great services...Loved the pool and restaurant”

Great location only 10 minutes to Opry and 10 to Downtown. Clean friendly and had everything we needed. Pool was warm and comfortable. Restaurant and Bar was very accommodating. Breakfast was reasonable and the food was very fresh especially the fruit selection. Alot to choose from. We will stay the next ime we are in town. Great staff too!

“Nice, but a bit damp”

This hotel was great. The only issue I had was that the air in the room felt very "damp" and even when sitting on the floor for a while, it felt wet. When I woke up in the morning, my throat was really scratchy and I think it was bcause of the air in the room. We called the front desk to ask if they had a de-humidifier but had no luck. I thought that this might be because of the flood, but that area was not affected by the Nashville flood. The pool was wonderful with extremely nice lounge chairs and the morning breakfast was GREAT. We got a tray and took it to the room and pigged out! All of the staff was very friendly and even helped us find the closest shopping area. Overall, the hotel seemed to be in nice condition.

Area recommendations

I picked a hotel in the airport area mainly for the price. We wanted something that was nce without paying the downtown prices. I called and asked how much a cab ride would be from the hotel to downtown and they said approximately $25... they were right on the money!
