Room is small. Bed and pillows are uncomfortable.Posted Nov 23, 2013
Cons: Not much.
Location: I prefer staying in that area. It's close to the airport and Opryland.
I asked if the office was manned 24/7 and was told yes. When I checked out, at 6 am, the only person there was the cleaning lady. I had asked for a 6 am wake-up call and never got one. In fact, I noticed that there wasn't a phone in the room and had to ask for one.

Ron - I appreciate you taking the time to write a review of your experience with us. I sincerely apologize that you did not have a phone in your room, nor did you receive your wake-up call. In response to your feedback, I am reviewing our morning procedures with our staff so that this type of issue is not repeated. As well, from 7am-11pm the front desk is manned at all times, from 11pm-7am our staff is available and can be reached if not at the desk by the phone in the lobby. I will work with the staff to ensure this information is communicated to our guests better. I really appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We hope that you will give us the opportunity to provide you with a better stay the next time you're in the area.

Burn and rebuild!!!Posted Oct 21, 2013
Cons: Burned and rebuilt
This has got to have been the first Extended Stay to ever come into existence. The outside looks like a Freddy Kruger horror film.. There is not even a reception desk. You step right into the office to see all of their junk.. First I asked Expedia for non-smoking but only smoking was available when I get there.. So ok we can deal with that!!! When you walk in you instantly smell years of smoke.. Receptionist said she didn't smell anything.. DuH!!! Because you said you were a smoker!!!.. The funny thing was that she stated this was the best room on the block...THE ROOM!!! I looked like it should have had chalk outlining a body. You can see the years of people wasting stuff on the floor and the couch and comforter was just horrible. The smell was stale and dry.. Lets just say we went to Walmart to buy sheet sets and slept on top of the bed and couch.. We did not let our bodies touch anything.. The so called kitchen was just terrible. I guess like all terrible hotels they have to at least upgrade to an HD TV which they have. We only had to stay there one day because we came in town a day earlier. Back to the funny part of the receptionist is that we went to another hotel right next door and they got an A from us.. Clean and up to date.. So not sure why she figured hers was the best.. Overall I would not recommend this particular Extended stay but maybe one of the two other Extended Stays on the same block which she said was not as good as hers..

OK for one nightPosted Sep 23, 2013
Cons: New carpet through the entire building and make it a no smoking facility.
Location: Near the airport.
The entire hotel smelled like cigarette smoke. Carpet was very dirty and needs to be replaced. No elevators. The whole facility appeared to come from the '70's. I stepped in something sticky on the carpet in room 314. GROSS! I don't know what it was and I made sure I put on socks from there on out. On the good side, hotel was very quiet. No obnoxious people/neighbors and the front desk employee was nice.

As this hotel’s manager, I can assure you that I have taken action to relieve the smell of smoke and carpet cleaning, to ensure your experience is not repeated. Still, I am pleased to hear that our staff provided great customer service and the hotel was quiet. Our team is committed to satisfying our guests, so we are very thankful for your feedback. Labor Day Vacation TripPosted Sep 4, 2013
Pros: Easy of getting to and from the attractions in and around Nashville
Cons: They offer a "Grab-and-Go breakfast that in the picture shows lots of fruit, only saw small apples and a couple of small oranges.
Location: In a quite area away from traffic. Easy to get on and off the interstate to go to Downtown Nashville, Opry Land , Grand Old Opry and the Hermitage.
There are three separate Extended Stay America along Elm Hill Pike. They are all next to each other. Pleasant enough area. Easy access to Downtown Attractions and well as Opry Land area. Would stay there again if I go back.

The room was clean, but that''s about I can say for the hotel. The furniture was obviously old and needed refinishing very badly. I don't expect perfect, but I expect decent. You don't get daily clean-up service unless you pay for it. The internet connection is slow unless you pay for higher speed. The "free" breakfast is grab-and-go rather than hot. I have recently received all this service in other hotels where I paid less money. I wouldn't go back.
