Great hotel close to Green Hills Mall and Lipscomb

We were in Nashville for a high school graduation at Lipscomb. The hotel was just down the road from the venue which made it easy. Plenty of great places to eat and shop at the Green Hills Mall that is adjacent to the hotel. The decor of the hotel was attractive and comfortable, our room was very clean, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the free hot breakfast was fresh, hot and delicious! We had stayed here before, and will be back again.

Great customer service

This hotel is within walking distance of great restaurants, a large mall, and a Starbucks. My room was clean and comfortable. I had a problem with the toilet and when I reported it, the management was very kind and even refunded me for one night. EXCELLENT customer service. Great breakfast too with a lot of variety offered.

Weekend in Nashville

Stayed for a weekend concert in March. Easy access to major roadways, shops, and restaurants. Very friendly staff, but don't expect them to go above and beyond. Room service wanted to charge me $2.00 to deliver a fork when my takeout order didn't include one. I borrowed one from the on-site restaurant for free instead. Fast and easy check in/check out. Overall, well worth

Rude Desk Clerk

First, my reservation promised the room had a refrigerator and microwave; it had neither. I was counting on the refridgerator. Second, I was meeting my sister there; we arrived at different times. I had reserved it on my credit card and when she arrived first they took her card. So, they knew there were two credit cards involved. The day we were leaving, they put a receipt under our door with the full price on her credit card. As we checked out, I asked the desk clerk to divide it between our cards. He said that was impossible; we needed to have asked for this when we checked in. Well, they didn't say that at the time. When I questioned this to the clerk, he insisted it was impossible to divide the bill because "it makes the computer go crazy." Seriously, Hampton Inn, you dont't have computers that can divide a bill? I don't believe this -- I think that this man at the desk was feeling too lazy to bother. He acted very snooty and superior at the same time that he was denying this very simple request. There were no other guests waiting for anything.
