Location: Not too much within walking distance, but the shuttle takes you to within walking distance of a mall.
Enjoyed our stay, the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was very spacious and comfy. The shuttle to and from the airport and the Gaylord Opry Hotel was an added bonus with very courtious drivers. Would recommend this hotel

Hampton inn at opreylandPosted Nov 25, 2013
Pros: hotel shuttle that picked u up from airport breaktfast that was hot and cold
Cons: shuttle to drop u off at opreymills shopping centre breakfast to end slightly later and be told its ending
Location: opreymills shopping centre gayland hotel for Christmas decorations most of things were downtown
hotel was a little bit further from downtown then I expected when booking but this wasn't a problem as there was a downtown shuttle that run on the hour only disappointing bit was it didn't start till 11. hotel shuttle was an advantage as it picked u up from the airport and it was free also it dropped u off at Opryland and picked u up. hotel was lovely staff very friendly especially andrea and Gloria. the thing I love about hamptons is the breakfast is always the same wherever u go so u can have as little or as much as u like. trips were booked through. greyline they have a booth off broadway and we did the trolley bus tour the walking tour and the music hall of fame. we also did l'hermitage belle mead plantation the general Jackson lunchtime cruise and franklin. I must say that they were all good except for the walking tour which was really a backstage tour of the rhyman and not a tour of Nashville as we expected. one highlight is the free bus that goes around Nashville we were driven by Loretta lynn?? and she was a character. Nashville is an amazing place and u can do as much or as little as u want. every bar had some kind of music going on. also whilst we were there there was a concert in the street for tooties 53rd birthday. one thing u must do is visit the grand ole oprey which we did on the Saturday the atmosphere and acoustics were fantastic. shopping was an experience no book shops in Nashville or in the shopping mall at green hills or oprey mills.

Close to Opryland but less expensive!Posted Nov 19, 2013
Pros: The staff was very friendly! Breakfast included with the room price was a bonus.
Location: We went to the Belle Meade Plantation, the Grand Ole Opry at the Ryman Auditorium, line dancing at Wildhorse and horse back riding at Juro Stables.
We stayed at this hotel for a long Girl's weekend. Staff is friendly--especially Sunshine who serves breakfast in the morning! Rooms were very comfortable and clean. We had a problem with our bathroom sink but the maintenance man came and fixed it as soon as we called. Hotel is convenient to Opryland--right across the street. It was about a half hour drive to the downtown area--within reason for us as we had our own car.

Pros: comfortable and spacious
Cons: better internet connections
Overall an outstanding hotel - but if you are needing to use your computer - ask for the 2nd floor.

A Grand Time in NashvillePosted Oct 30, 2013
Pros: The interior design was fabulous. The location. And the staff!
Location: It is a 5 minute ride on the shuttle to The Opryland Hotel, Shopping Center and The Grand Ole Opry.
Everything about our five day trip to Nashville including our stay at The Hamptom Inn & Suites Nashville @ Opryland was perfect. The hotel shuttle picked us up at the airport in a timely manner. The staff (especially Andrea & Gloria) greeted us warmly and made us feel very welcome. Our double room was spacious, very comfortable and perfect for two woman and all their stuff! There were a few minor problems like the shower head not working properly, but the staff got right on it and it was fixed immediately. The breakfast was served hot or cold and was always plentiful and good. The breakfast staff (especially Sunshine...she lives up to her name) kept everything stocked and clean. When we needed suggestions regarding some tours we wanted to take Andrea knew which ones to take and made all our reservations. We had a great time. The shuttle took us over to the Gaylord Opryland Hotel at the top of every hour and picked us back up when we called. And to top everything off there is a Downtown Shuttle that picked us up at the hotel, took us downtown, and brought us back for only $10.00 round trip. These services made us feel very taken care of and comfortable with getting around the area.

Nice little place to sleepPosted Oct 28, 2013
Pros: * Wonderful staff * Downtown shuttle for guests
Cons: * Rooms just a bit too small, especially if traveling with children
Location: * Right down the right from Opry Mills area * Easy access to downtown Nashville w/ the shuttles * Several dining options within walking distance
I was largely pleased with this hotel. The staff was amazing, constantly asking us if we needed anything and interacting with my children. They would even go so far as to find crayons and something to color on when our 1 year old started to get fussy at breakfast one morning. They helped my wife secure a taxi and even alerted us in our room when it arrived. The hotel was attractive and appears to have been recently renovated. It was very clean throughout and I found the staff to be aggressive about keeping it that way. My only real complaint was the size of everything. I constantly felt a little cramped during my stay. It felt as if the furniture was stuffed into the room. The breakfast area felt as if it had one table too many. The lobby could have used one less chair. For those of you who are visiting the Nashville area for fun, I would recommend this hotel very highly. My favorite feature was the shuttle which provided transportation to and from the downtown area. So much easier than trying to park downtown and much less expensive than a taxi.

Great. Will definitely try to stay there againPosted Oct 28, 2013
Everything was wonderful. Rooms were clean, staff was excellent and helpful, location convenient. My only complaint is that the internet was down the entire duration of my stay (2 nights) - I understand that this is an internet provider's fault, but since internet is vital for me to conduct business in Nashville, this was a serious issue for me. The hotel might want to look into changing internet service providers if their current one takes over 48 hours to correct the outage.

Would go back againPosted Oct 28, 2013
Pros: Large room (when requested) and nice breakfast buffet.
Cons: Workers at front desk were a little disconcerned. When we walked back in that afternoon, they were all playing on their phones right up front.
Location: We were across the street from Opryland. Lots of restaurants to choose from right next to hotel.
A little upset when we first checked in because we had requested early check-in plus a roll away bed. Got to room, no roll away bed, and room was so small we didn't see how they would even squeeze one in. Talked to maid who showed us bigger room & called back down to front desk to get us moved. We went down to front desk and they agreed to move us to bigger room but had to come back in an hour (which didn't make any sense because maid showed us room she just cleaned and was ready). New room was much bigger and nicer. Beds comfy, large bathroom, and just really nice room. Breakfast had a good selection from eggs, sausage, bisuits & gravy, make your own waffles, fruit, cereals, muffins, etc. Very nice selection. Hotel had pool but it was closed since it was October. Small exercise room with 4 pieces equipment. Very nice lobby and eating area. Will use this hotel again when we go back next year.
