Proximity to the BNA aiport is the most redeeming quality of this property. OUr room was not very cleam and had many signs of wear and tear. There was a renovation underway, and I'm sure that affected the overall environment in the hotel negatively. I don't think we got our money's worth for $189/night.

Hotel

Pros: Room was nice, but hotel management should check work after it is done. Plaster already falling off ceiling and tub and nothing to grip on the bottom.
Cons: There is room for improvement in every area.
Location: The neighborhood was not a good one! Did not feel safe. Had an encounter at a gas station.
Renovations still in progress and very annoying! Parking terrible! Did not sleep last night stayed, due to guests running up and down the hallway screaming and yelling. Had to leave my room twice to report. Also saw a man who looked like he was trying to get in rooms. Gal at desk did the best she could, but should of thrown them out! Told there was security, but I did not see anyone.

Not bad, close to downtown

Hotel was under renovation in the lobby and first floor. This is a non-smoking hotel, which is hard to find. It was clean and the staff was friendly.

We do appreciate you choosing to stay with our hotel during your time in the Nashville area. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you experienced due to our renovations. Our renovation area is primarily located in the breakfast area (breakfast relocated to 1st floor) and has been closed off by a temporary wall. Therefore making every effort possible to prevent any disruption to our guest stay. I am very sorry if there were other areas of the hotel that you felt were not to your level of expectation. We do ask that you give us another chance! We are looking for renovations to be completed by mid September and we look forward to being able to exceed your expectations upon your return visit!

Pros: friendly staff freeway-close comfortable bed + linens + pillows.
Cons: the light in the bathroom was not very good - very yellow + the fan was always on at the same time so it was loud.
Location: freeway close so downtown + surrounding areas were a quick trip (:
had a nice stay here. they are currently renovating + you can tell that it will be lovely when they are finished. they staff was very kind + helpful.

old hotel...

Posted Apr 24, 2015
The hotel looked to have been built in the mid-60's. Although valiant efforts were made to modernize my room, it still looked worse for wear. The bathroom improvements in my room, for example, resulted in plumbing pipes being routed outside the wall, and over to the sink (with a generous supply of spray foam insulation protruding from holes in the drywall). Fresh paint over the ceiling failed to conceal damaged drywall from previous water damage. Curtains over the window were torn and dirty, and looked to be original, judging from the floral pattern. The bed was exceedingly uncomfortable and should have been updated with the room. The included breakfast was terrible; actually inedible (and I'm not a picky eater). The hotel staff I found to be helpful and friendly, at least. I'm normally a fan of Holiday Inn Express, but this, particular, one does not make the cut.

Construction Mess

Posted Apr 22, 2015 on Hotels
I'm sure it will be better when they are finished with remodeling, which notice said was started last Nov.(6 mo)We had stucco styrofoam all over everything, noisy work early in morning and late also, staff using same small elevator and moving furniture around, and not the personal service I'm used to from HIE.The rate should have been reduced.

It is our goal to have a beautifully renovated hotel when the remodeling is done. I apologize that your stay was less than a five star stay due to the renovation. We anticipate that we will be completing the renovation in June of 2015 and hope we have the opportunity to earn a five star review from you. Thank you! Allyson Trull General Manager
