“Not impressed”

It was a disappointing stay. The kitchen was not stocked with correct dishes, etc. You could see all around the outside door and could hear the traffic on the I-65 causing us to not get much sleep. Can't say that saving money was worth it. I guess now I see why it was the cost we paid for a two night stay.

“I probably would not go back.”

The hotel was okay, but my husband went with me, and he is much older than I and having to climb steps over and over again wasn't good. There were no elevators. The bathroom tub had silverfish in it (I killed them and didn't worry about it) but I have not found this is most hotels I have been in. I think this type of arrangement is for family with children who plan to do their own cooking. It wasn't a big deal, though. I was only there one night.

I'm not familiar with the neighborhoods.

“Hotel is great for convenience to Cool Springs area, but that is my only compliment!”

On our recent stay at this hotel, we were welcomed by an unfriendly hotel staff. The room was dirty. The last occupant's trash (styrofoam cups, Q-tips, kleenex, etc.) was still in the trash can. My wife took the trash can to the front desk and their response was "Well, I guess I can empty it for you". The sheets had hair on them and you definitely don't want to look at the soiled mattress. I had to replace the light bulb in the wall light with one from the dresser so we could sit on the bed and read. No coffee cups in the room to drink coffee if you wanted it. There was a dog in the next room that barked for 2 hours on our 2nd night staying there. I have nothing against pets staying at a hotel as long as they don't bark for 2 hours. lThis hotel is very convenient to the Cool Springs area, but that is the only good thing that I would stay about this hotel. My wife said that we should have spent a little more money and stayed at a nicer hotel and I would definitely agree.

Area recommendations

We love the Cool Springs area and I would recommend the Cool Springs area or Brentwood area as to stay away from the congestion of Nashville proper. These areas are pretty crowded, but not like being right in the rush of the city.

“Nice rooms in an even nicer location.”

The hotel was nice. Entering in for check in to the set up and convenience of the room. My only issue is the front desk personel checking in and checking out could have been a little more personable. Made me feel upon leaving that thats all and like he wanted to get back to what he was doing.

Check out the mall across the street. Everything you need would be right there.

“Nice place to stay”

Nice hotel with kitchenette. There is no hair dryer so make sure to bring your own. Convenient location, close to many good restaurants.

“Very cheap but such a DUMP!!!”

The cost as unbelievably CHEAP! So convenient to everything! Stove, refrig, clean, super efficient. The outside looks great .....BUT..... it was such a dump! Don't be fooled, The rooms are super plain and very ugly. If they would just upgrade a little bit it would help sooooo much. If u r broke stay here but if u have any extra cash do urself a favor and stay else where.

Area recommendations

Staying at Opryland hotel or near Downtown Nashville is great if you like resorts or club hopping but the Franklin, Coolsprings area is wonderful for shopping and dinning. it;s convienant to the wineries, theater and lots of events outdoors.

“Not impressed”

Yuck. The refrigerator ran loud all night. There was something sticky on the night stand. The room smelled of smoke. Would not stay there again.

“Not so hot”

There was a water bug in the shower, the toilet paper holder fell off the wall, I had to ask in the office for a new roll of toilet paper, there were no cups for water or coffee in the room. The coffee maker worked, but there was nothing to drink from after the coffee was made.

Traveler's tip

If you want an inexpensive place to stay for a short while, this location is ok. However, I would be disappointed in this hotel as an extended stay facility.

“Dirty--won't stay here ever again”

The first room had dirty towels on the floor, so we were moved to another room. We pulled down the covers on the bed, and there was hair, dirt, etc. on the sheets. It was a nasty place. We checked out the same day we arrived, as we didn't have the guts to sleep in the bed.
