OK stay at Homewood SuitesPosted Apr 28, 2015
Pros: Good lobby, lots of employees willing to help you out
Cons: Housekeeping needs to be more on top of their game, they can't miss cleaning rooms like that. The breakfast is not very good. Shuttle not picking up!
Stayed there for 3 nights on a trip to Nashville. The hotel is clean and the staff for the most part tries really hard to please. They offer a subpar breakfast for free which is nice. The location is great however not walking distance to Broadway strip. They offer a shuttle however when we called the shuttle to pick us up we waited and waited and waited and gave up so we just took cab. Parking is expensive, bill was over $80 for 3 days, ouch ! One day we got back to our room and the room was not made. I complained at the front desk and they were very apologetic and took care of it. If you can get this at a decent rate and everything else is full go ahead and stay here if not stay elsewhere.

Homewood suites near Vanderbilt University was a great place for our family stay. The hotel suite was very comfortable and the staff was very accommodating to our year old pup Jake. Don't miss the free breakfast and dinner buffets!

Very Nice Staff. Parking Not Included.Posted Apr 23, 2015
Pros: Clean, Great Staff
Cons: Better Couch in my room. Recliner would of been nice.
Location: Vanderbilt University and all things that go with a University. Don't go to Logon's behind the Hotel. Bad Service Expensive for cheap low grade food.
Very Nice stay. couch in the room could of been better, not very comfortable. Staff are great. Did not like the fact I had to pay an extra $28 for parking that Expedia did include up front.

checking at 4 Pm is too late. room was not ready even then. they double book my room and somebody else enter to my room when I was in. Terrible service although they tried to be nice, they screw up almost everything, my key did not work after a while and housekeeping got into my room very early next morning when I was still there did not check out.

This hotel has a very sophisticated feel to it. The staff is professional and friendly, the rooms upscale, and the breakfast food is delicious. Located right across the street from Vanderbilt University, the location is bustling and a short drive to downtown Nashville. The pool was closed, which was the only disappointment.

Lovely hotel with comfortable spacious roomsPosted Apr 2, 2015
Pros: The room was lovely with the fitted kitchen. The shuttle service. The friendliness of the staff. The pool, breakfasts and free nice coffee.
Cons: Letting guests know about the contract with the VA.
Location: Just over a mile from downtown and close to all major tourist sites and venues apart from the Opry. Rotiers at the rear has the best burgers we've had
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The breakfasts were good and I enjoyed using the pool. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The shuttle bus was an excellent service. The drivers Brandon and Michael were very friendly and informative but special thanks must go to Kelly whose hard work and devotion to her job helped make our stay more special. We would appreciate it if our thanks could be passed on. We hope to see her again. One thing though, it would have been better if we had been informed on booking in that the hotel has a contract with the local VA. It would not have stopped us from staying, and we would definitely return, but it was a surprise to get into the elevator on our first morning with people wearing surgical masks.

Great locationPosted Mar 22, 2015
Pros: Shuttle, dining (breakfast and 'welcome home reception'. Clean property, friendly staff.
Cons: A second shuttle, or a larger one!
Location: Parthenon, Vanderbilt and Centennial sports complex a few minutes walk. Easy access to 'The District' and Music Row.
Second time at this property, a great choice for families. Area shuttle will get you downtown, and many other things within walking distance.

GREAT all around stay.Posted Mar 16, 2015
Pros: Convenient to downtown but far enough away not be disturbed by the crowd. The Shuttle service was a big plus.
Cons: The addition of a hot tub.
We were in town for the SEC tournament on Sat March 14 and Sunday March 15 and wanted to stay close to the Bridgestone Arena. This was the PERFECT location and the accommodations were exceptional. From the beauty of the hotel to the friendly and helpful staff we could not have been more pleased. My son and granddaughter enjoyed the pool and the shuttle service/drivers was outstanding. The beds were so comfortable that we almost missed the morning buffet which also was outstanding. We were 100% satisfied and we will be back. I have already recommended your place to my friends for next year's tournament.
