Names can be deceivingPosted Nov 20, 2013
Pros: New, clean bathroom.
Cons: Staff was not all that helpful with surrounding events. Didn't know anything about the gun show that was advertised on a billboard outside the hotel
Location: Far away from downtown. Wouldn't walk 2 blocks in the wrong direction from hotel doors. Neighborhood had bars on the windows and doors.
Didn't realize that the "Days Inn-Nashville downtown" had changed their name to Hotel Premier. This hotel was not really downtown at all. It was on the otherside of the Titan's stadium. Hotel was under reconstruction/remodeling. Painters were working in the lobby. Room was nice. Clean, new bathrooms.

Good low price downtown nashville hotelPosted Nov 17, 2013
Pros: Best bits:Front desk staff, 15-20 minute walk to downtown
Location: TItans NFL games - LP Field 10 mins walk Bars, restaurants Downtown 20 mins walk ($7 by cab inc.tips) Museums and live venues 20 mins walk
Was wary having read poor reviews as hotel was undergoing renovation, but there was very little impact on my stay (6 nights). Front desk staff very friendly and helpful at all times. Room was clean, well presented and well maintained. Complimentary breakfast was basic but varied enough.

Nice hotel close to the stadium.Posted Nov 13, 2013
All was good except the maids kept beating on the door whe we were trying to get ready to leave. It wasn't checkout time yet so we were getting very aggravated!

Weekend stayPosted Nov 4, 2013
Rooms were clean but the hotel is going through a complete renovation, no business office, no swimming pool etc. Believe they are trying to do a good job but it is going to take time. Close and very convenient to downtown area. A no frills hotel but price was right compared to other hotels in the area.

Will be nice after renovations completedPosted Oct 21, 2013
Pros: Nice beds. Staff nice
Cons: Fridge and microwave standard. Complete renovations and put up a sign with the actual hotel name
Location: Location is great!!
Front lobby under renovations. Asked for refrigerator but never received it. Said they would put one in room if one was available?? Never received an answer or the fridge. No microwave either. Nice beds though. Limited parking. Still has the sign with the old name of the hotel instead of Days Inn. Confusing.

Pros: Close to downtown. $5 cab ride.
Cons: The plumbing. Hopefully it improves once the renovations are done.
Location: Location is great. $5 cab ride to downtown. And if you're going to a Titan's game, it's perfect.
The good news is that this hotel is under renovation, and appears to be on the up swing. So I was staying at this hotel during mid-renovation, so it was a little different since the hallway walls were new and upgraded, but the room doors were all scratched up and old. But, I assume the doors will be upgraded as well at some point. The first night I was there, I had to move to a different room because I think there was a bachelor party or something. The front desk staff gladly moved me to a different room. THEN, the next night, I went out to dinner, came back to the room, and in the sink was something weird. It looked like dirt. But as I took a closer look, it smelled like vomit. I was freaked out, as if someone had been in my room while I was gone. Later when I returned home, my wife suggested that it may have been sewage that had backed up in the drain. That very well could've been, since they were renovating. But that still caused me to have to switch rooms, again. The staff gladly switched my room again. So, all in all, they were renovating so I suppose there's room for inconvenience. The hotel serves its purpose. Close to downtown. $5 cab ride.

Might try again once construction is donePosted Oct 12, 2013
Pros: Location was great. Close to everything.
Cons: Don't put people on rooms that are not complete.
Location: seconds from downtown, well lit parking lot, safe and secure.
Touring a local college with my son and looked for a reasonably priced hotel close to campus. Hotel has potential to be nice, but was under construction. Desk clerk was pleasant upon arrival, but playing with phone and borderline rude when returning that night. Room was not fully renovated. There were patches and holes in the wall. Sprinkler system hanging, exposed plumbing, dirty tub, no shower curtain, the coffee pot was not near a plug, and when I opened the packet to make coffee, the grounds inside were already wet. Looks like it could be nice when renovations are complete.

Days innPosted Oct 9, 2013
Hotel was ok for an overnight stay while driving through the state. It was a Short cab ride to down town. Only complaint was the breakfast and the desk staff. We were going to book the room for another night until we called the front desk to book the room and were told they were to busy to help and had to call back later.

Very nice, but being renovated.Posted Oct 8, 2013
Very nice rooms, but still in the middle of renovation. Common areas downstairs and some room ammenities overlooked, but they took care of them.
