Pros: Clean, quite, safe.
Cons: Softer mattresses
Location: Convenient to airport, only 15min. from downtown.
Stayed two nights with my wife on our 21st wedding anniversary. Nice place for couples, quite, romantic, restaurant and bar on site.

Convenient location for all things Opry!

Posted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Breakfast should be included!
The Hotel Provenance was in the perfect location for accessing all things Opry. The hotel shuttle provided free drop-off/pick up service to Opry Mills shopping and the Grand Ole Opry, no problem. A cab ride to downtown (Broadway) was less than $20, so between four of us, it was reasonable. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, responding efficiently to requests for transportation and small personal items (toothpaste), suggestions for restaurants, etc. The general clientele during our stay was similar to ourselves - travelling family - although there were also a number of business travelers. Our suite was quite large and comfortable. On the downside, the hotel is quite near the airport, so it can be a bit noisy. Most disappointing - breakfast was NOT included with the room and it was quite pricey - almost $20/person. If you are driving, you can take advantage of nearby restaurant options for much less ($5/person). I would stay here again, but not before checking other options.

Great Overnighter

Posted Jul 13, 2014
Pros: The friendly, personal service; the clean, spacious room and comfortable bed.
Cons: The elevators (2) were a little slow and the ice machine was on the floor below me. But neither are deal-breakers on a return stay.
Location: Outdoor pool looked terrific. Did not have time to venture off site.
Was traveling alone and needed an affordable, quality place with airport shuttle for a good night's sleep after an 13-hour plane trip. Hotel Preston appeared to fit the bill. I was totally happy here. I will book another stay here soon. When asked about restaurants close by, the shuttle driver offered to take me to a restaurant off-site but recommended the one in the hotel. Good choice. Not crowded and excellent service from the wait staff. Server Micah and Chef Danny gladly accommodated special dinner request, substituting a vegetable medley for potatoes, and preparing the steak rare, without salt. The steak was flavorful and tender. Perfect meal for the end of a long day with no airplane fare. Was spendy, but this was a hotel restaurant and I did choose a high-end menu offering with special handling, and I was happy to have had a good ending to a long day. The wake-up call was the cheeriest I've ever had, and the front desk staff was most pleasant, and did me a favor by putting a small bag of food in the office refrigerator while I waited for my ride.

Great Stay For CMA Festival

Posted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: Location and decor
Cons: Nothing
Location: Great location...just a short drive or cab ride from downtown Nashville.
Very nice hotel near downtown Nashville. The rooms very clean and the hotel was tastefully decorated. I was concerned booking a hotel that isn't a "name brand," but I couldn't have been happier. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

Nice hotel, close to airport. A little too close.

Posted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: Our king room was large and very open.
Cons: Bathroom was small and dated. Needs to be upgraded. Entrance to room was overly large and could be used to expand bathroom. Fridge would be useful.
Location: Close access to Freeways.Ten minutes to Opry Land and Gaylord Hotel and Convention Centre. Opry Mills shopping centre is also there.
Only stayed one night so it is hard to comment. The hotel was used by us as a convenience for our flight out the next morning.

Great stay!

Extremely helpful and professional staff! Very clean and well kept rooms! Pool was a bit dirty, but very minimally and TV was a bit fuzzy for the price. But these minor details hardly took away from our very positive experience!

Get away with husband. ....

Posted Jul 5, 2014
Hotel was very nice at check in/out desk.. security was great.. restaurant/bar was downstairs which was great... staff was friendly.... requests were made before we arrived and hotel was fast on it. NOW...... mattress was the WORSE ever... it was a standard mattress no pillow top no comfort AT ALL!!! VERY CHEAP .my husband ACTUALLY had to sleep on the small couch the first night because the mattress was hurting his back.. you MUST request a mini fridge and microwave if u need it... it does NOT come in room. T.V. had a horrible reception.. very fuzzy... the bar downstairs was a little high.. $4.25 for a domestic beer..each.. If you book the room at an Expedia price it will be worth it if u made prior requests before arriving... if u PAID full price at the hotel rate you were SERIOUSLY ROBBED!!!!.
