Cons: Softer bed.
Location: Toning to do nearby, need a car to go to anything close.
Seems like hotels all around Nashville are on the much higher side of prices. Tried the hotel out, it was interesting...

Great location, sothern hospitality with poor wifi

Posted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Wifi
Location: Ten minutes from downtown or Opryland. Never more than a twenty minute cab ride to something fun!
The location was prime for making it to activities in the downtown area, as well as the convinience of free shuttling to Opryland and the airport. The wifi connection in the rooms was very poor. Being from out of country especially, this was a huge inconvinience. Sometimes the phone did not always go through to the room service option, but the food arrived promptely and was very satisfactory. The pool was an enjoyable area to socialize and enjoy the beautiful weather outside. Rooms we spacious and well kept. Front desk persons were always very helpful and friendly.

Convenient location for all things Opry!

Posted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Breakfast should be included!
The Hotel Provenance was in the perfect location for accessing all things Opry. The hotel shuttle provided free drop-off/pick up service to Opry Mills shopping and the Grand Ole Opry, no problem. A cab ride to downtown (Broadway) was less than $20, so between four of us, it was reasonable. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, responding efficiently to requests for transportation and small personal items (toothpaste), suggestions for restaurants, etc. The general clientele during our stay was similar to ourselves - travelling family - although there were also a number of business travelers. Our suite was quite large and comfortable. On the downside, the hotel is quite near the airport, so it can be a bit noisy. Most disappointing - breakfast was NOT included with the room and it was quite pricey - almost $20/person. If you are driving, you can take advantage of nearby restaurant options for much less ($5/person). I would stay here again, but not before checking other options.

Great Overnighter

Posted Jul 13, 2014
Pros: The friendly, personal service; the clean, spacious room and comfortable bed.
Cons: The elevators (2) were a little slow and the ice machine was on the floor below me. But neither are deal-breakers on a return stay.
Location: Outdoor pool looked terrific. Did not have time to venture off site.
Was traveling alone and needed an affordable, quality place with airport shuttle for a good night's sleep after an 13-hour plane trip. Hotel Preston appeared to fit the bill. I was totally happy here. I will book another stay here soon. When asked about restaurants close by, the shuttle driver offered to take me to a restaurant off-site but recommended the one in the hotel. Good choice. Not crowded and excellent service from the wait staff. Server Micah and Chef Danny gladly accommodated special dinner request, substituting a vegetable medley for potatoes, and preparing the steak rare, without salt. The steak was flavorful and tender. Perfect meal for the end of a long day with no airplane fare. Was spendy, but this was a hotel restaurant and I did choose a high-end menu offering with special handling, and I was happy to have had a good ending to a long day. The wake-up call was the cheeriest I've ever had, and the front desk staff was most pleasant, and did me a favor by putting a small bag of food in the office refrigerator while I waited for my ride.

Great Stay For CMA Festival

Posted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: Location and decor
Cons: Nothing
Location: Great location...just a short drive or cab ride from downtown Nashville.
Very nice hotel near downtown Nashville. The rooms very clean and the hotel was tastefully decorated. I was concerned booking a hotel that isn't a "name brand," but I couldn't have been happier. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

Nice hotel, close to airport. A little too close.

Posted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: Our king room was large and very open.
Cons: Bathroom was small and dated. Needs to be upgraded. Entrance to room was overly large and could be used to expand bathroom. Fridge would be useful.
Location: Close access to Freeways.Ten minutes to Opry Land and Gaylord Hotel and Convention Centre. Opry Mills shopping centre is also there.
Only stayed one night so it is hard to comment. The hotel was used by us as a convenience for our flight out the next morning.
