Hotel's Only Value Was In Its LocationPosted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: Location, Location, Location. LP Field, downtown Nashville, Jack's BBQ, The Grand Ole Opry....it was in close driving distance of all these places.
Cons: Staff could be more attentive and polite, place next door needs to take care of the blaring bass in the morning, pool needs to be cleaner.

I had a ticket to the cowboys game in Nashville, and wanted a hotel that was as close to LP Field as possible for a reasonable price. The hotel was 4 or 5 miles away from the stadium, and was in close proximity to many other things to do in Nashville. That was the only plus. The pool was green, when I showed up early to check in I was rudely turned away, and the worst part of all was the establishment next door had people BLARING bass out of their cars at all times of night. I was woken up three times during the night to a different car. The hotel management did nothing, nor did the owners of the establishment next door. The hotel was clean enough, but I did find a spider in one of the towels. A small one, so no major gripes there. If you have more money or a family, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. This is not a family friendly place and if you're trying to enjoy the city, you deserve better. But as far as a place for me to lay my head down for the night at a decent price, the HoJo Downtown served its purpose.

There is a night club Jazzys next to it that is a rough place!! There were three police cars at the club! They offer breakfast but only till 9:30 so if you want to sleep in you are out of luck and will NOT make you any after that.

Hotel LiesPosted Aug 19, 2014
Cons: Be honest with location, what hotel looks like. Clean your hotel. Take pride in it.
The hotel put pictures online that were supposed to be of the hotel and they are not what the hotel looks like. Its run down, paint peeling. The hotel says its in Opryland Area. Its on the wrong side of town. The rooms were not clean. There was hair in the beds. Sheets were not clean. Totally gross. I will not stay there again.

Pros: The swimming pool was nice
Cons: The hotel was nasty. We had to move a table because something fell behind it and the floor was covered in dirt. It smelt really bad
Location: There were a lot of people that were hanging around the pool area that were not guest at the hotel
The whole experience was ridicules. The room were nasty and had a bad smell. You can tell they only clean where they can see not any where else

Did the jobPosted Aug 14, 2014
Toilet is loud. House Keeping never cleaned our room in the 2 nights we were there, I had to track them down for clean towels. AC unit didn't work. Hot! Overall, gave us a bed to sleep in & a place to shower. Did what we needed it to do. About a 10 minute drive from downtown Nashville.

Don't do it!Posted Jul 30, 2014
Location: It was in a REALLY bad part of town.
We stayed two nights. Both nights were miserable as the air conditioner didn't work and the toilet never flushed all of the way. We complained the first night, and they said they would fix it the next morning while we were out. They didn't even bother asking what room number I was in, I had to remind them that they might need the room number to fix the problem. Obviously then, it was no different the second night. Spend a little more money and go to a place that cares about their customers.
