Great staffPosted May 17, 2015
My friend was sick the day of check out and we need a couple more hours in our room. The General manager allowed us to stay until 2:00(check out is at 11) at no additional charge to us. He was so nice to have done that for us.

Don't Do It!!!Posted May 16, 2015
This hotel has decent numbers, but I don't know why. I'm all about value and understanding that you get what you pay for, but folks, this place is a dive that you really want to stay away from! Some thoughts: I was with a group...so my room smelled OK (bathroom smelled like mildew, but I could handle it - the other room we had to get an air freshener for. In that room, one of the sets of sheets had obviously not been washed. In my room, the entrance door frame was all beat up and the safety lock bent out of shape - and not useable. The second day I was there the maid left all the pillows on one bed and forgot to bring pillowcases. The Coke machine was locked behind bars....tell you something about the neighborhood??? Yep... The guys who "greeted" us at the front desk told us we really must park our car and leave it parked as the lot fills up and the hotel was completely booked. Both were a joke - there were probably 20-30 unused spaces every night...but the guy did get a kickback if you used the code he gave you to use Uber. I'm all for being enterprising, but lying like that to make a buck? Really? Anyway, the place is sketchy, dirty, and the locked down Coke machine and razor wire on all the lots near by lead me to believe you don't want to be out there at night. Don't do it...not this place...not even for a good price!

Good in generalPosted May 16, 2015
Cons: Staff at reception counter
Location: It's just across the river from downtown, so, pretty much everything downtown is easily accessible.
The person at the reception counter was somewhat rude and talked on the phone while I was checking in. The rooms were good and the location is good. The complimentary breakfast was horrible, even by complimentary hotel standards.

Ok hotel, terrible staff.Posted May 13, 2015
Pros: The beds were comfortable, and its location isn't bad.
Cons: Service! Either the maids are very slow, or there aren't enough of them. Nobody is very friendly or helpful.
Location: Plenty to do nearby - Downtown and Broadway not far at all.
The hotel is in a pretty good location, 5-10 minute drive to Broadway/Downtown, and the beds were comfortable. However, the floor in the room was filthy, the cleaners changed our bedding/towels once out of four days (We had to ask reception for new towels) and the staff there seemed to be really miserable. I'm not usually one to complain, but it wasn't really acceptable. We also were woken up early by people working on their cars (presumably they lived there) right outside our window every morning in the car park.

Desken fin service og hjelpsom 😊Posted May 9, 2015
Pros: Hyggelig frokostbetjening og resepsjonsnister.
Location: Litt langt unna downtown og severdigheter. Ingen ting å gjøre i nærheten.
Ok opphold. Litt dårlig erfaring med romservice da den uteble. Dersom det er et krav at rommet må være tomt i flere sammenhengende timer har vi et problem! I USA må dette kunne løses på en bedre måte, det er ikke noe månelandingsprosjekt.

Hotel staff was wonderful and accommodating.Posted May 5, 2015
Pros: Hotel staff was very kind.
Location: Location felt a little unsafe for two young women to be staying there.
Room was booked as a single bed smoking room... which we did not want. Hotel staff was kind and generous and was able to accommodate us to a room with two beds and non smoking. I can't say enough kind words about the staff. The facility, however, was not what we expected and looked less like it did in the photos when we reserved the space.

One cautionPosted Apr 20, 2015
This hotel is very handy to downtown and at a good price. Our room was newly painted and the carpet seemed clean and no stains. The bathroom fixtures gleamed. There were no bugs. Despite being near the highway, our room was quiet. There was a decent breakfast but no fruit. Free parking. However.... Upon checking in the clerk asked if we were " doing the town." We said yes and got a map. We then decided to rest awhile first. Soon there was a knock on the door and then another. Before we could go check, two maids unlocked the door and started inside. There was no cleaning cart in sight. They were startled to see us, stammered and asked "if we liked our stay so far" and beat a hasty retreat. Form your own conclusions...but we left only our clothes in the room when we did go out.
