“unfair ratings”

This hotel gets some unfair reviews. I'm at the hotel as I write this. The internet works well, the A/C works well, there's no bugs, the rooms have been well used but are clean, and the price is right. This hotel is not the ritze ,but it is very convenient to downtown. I've been staying here almost every year for 12 years and have never had a problem or seen a problem concerning crime. I'm sure there is some around ,but the neighborhood looks worse than it is. Very close to the stadium too. If your not a little tolerant with old this is probably not the place for you. Spend a lot more money and stay downtown. I also did meet the security guard and He was doing his job patrolling the property(real nice guy). All employees I've met have been very nice. Enjoy your trip!

“Nice room, nice service, but a very minimal breakfast”

Although this hotel claims to provide breakfast, it consisted of cereal (2 kinds) with milk, tang (not orange juice), coffee, bread and a toaster. It was ok, but not very much choice. The hotel room itself was clean, and very large, with an OK sized bathroom. Overall, I would stay there again, the price was very reasonable.

“Great for the price”

The hotel is not a 5 star, but for the price was way more that I expected. The room looked recentely update, was really clean and we just need a room to sleep.

“happy in Nashville Tn on vacation”

the only thing i wanted to mention is this, ( if you are a maintence guy or female, and you have a key to all the rooms, please please please knock on the door before you enter. this guy opens my door, and he DID NOT knock, he preceeds to to tell me he figured no one was in the room. and if the curtain is a certain way when the maid cleans it the he knows that the room is empty. HELLO. just because a new customer doesn't know the rules when they enter a room that they just paid for doens't give the maintence person the right to just walk in. I could have been naked, or something worse, like getting out of the shower. JUST knock, no matter what.

“Great location to Lp field and downtown Nashville”

Room was extremely clean; however, beds were very firm, just tub, no shower...elevator broken down also...

“Great family suite”

Overall, it was a wonderful experience. During check in, the staff didn't appear too friendly, but otherwise no problem.

“Great one night stay place”

The rooms were big with large beds. However, I did not appreciate the fact that even one bottle of water was not put in the fridge(even if the charge was to be included in the room fees) and the microwave was not functioning properly. Lastly, there was constant noise via out the night, preventing me from sleeping. Apart from that. It was good.

“My Nashville Stay”

Very quiet hotel stay. Room was more than I expected for the price. Room was much better than some of the expensive hotels I stayed in. Quietest air conditioner. It even has a sleep mode on it so you dont freeze while in bed. What I didnt like was the fact that there is no lounge or restaurant there any longer. Their advertisement stated they had one. That was the major reason for my stay. No nearby establishments to eat. Continental Breakfast during week only starts at 7 am. No coffee can be had until then for us early risers. Refrigerator & microwave in room but No coffee pot. No coffee pot in lobby. May stay there again next time I go to Nashville, but will take a coffee pot with me. Short trip to downtown, I used Taxi. Cheaper than paying to park in the lots.

“better than expected (I worked for a hotel)”

The hotel was located at a very convenient spot, close to downtown and other local attractions with easy access to highways and major roads. The room was simple and clean. AC/heater, microwave, mini-fridge, wireless and TV worked fine. The bathroom and the sink areas were clean. It was quiet at night. The hotel provided towels and bars of facial and body soap in the room, and nothing else. It was not a big deal, since we brought everything (hygiene stuff). Other reviews informed us that there isn't bottles of water in the room, so we brought a water-filter pitcher for drinking water as well. great price for a nice and simple stay, especially for people looking to save (e.g., students).
