“Wake Up on the Bland Side”

First upon arrival there was limited parking which was disappointing. Due to the outdoor entrances would have preferred more parking closer to rooms. Somewhat noisy at night being located right across the street from a railroad yard....lots of squeaking and banging at night though the rooms isolate the noise for the most part. It was near 100 degrees outside and the air conditioning seemed to struggle to keep the room dry since my paperwork seemed wet affter staying in the drawers while we were gone during the day. Other disappointments was lack of extra towels to dry after we swimming in pool (front desk stated they were in the dryer....). There was too much chlorine in the shower. Couldn't get face wet without burning eyes and soap didn't lather well....Ice machines and laundry were only located on the second floor which is disappointing for those of us that are located on the first floor and most do the stairs each and every time. Pluses included a very comfortable mattress and pillows. Never had a restless night during our stay and flat screen TV with good viewing angle and channel selection. For the price, you get what ya get....though I expected just a tad better service and amenities.

“Nashville I-40 to I-65”

This hotel was very convenient for me traveling from Atlanta to Southern Indiana. Although I had a late arrival, I was still able to get the room I requested through Expedia. The staff was friendly, and the other guests were fellow traveler types. As a female traveling with two dogs, I was happy to be able to stay at a fairly decent hotel and not get bombarded with pet fees. The room was clean enough. The breakfast included hard-boiled eggs, and yogurt, which was great for me!

“Clean and safe”

Very good hotel with clean grounds and room. Located off highway but hard to get there. Recommend as a 1-2 night stay. Break fast is o.k.

“Perfect for quick visit”

The staff was extremely friendly. They made us feel very welcome. The beds were comfortable. The room was clean and nicely updated. It was close to everywhere we wanted to be. Breakfast offered fresh, hot waffles and it was clean and well stocked. You may request a fridge and microwave at no additional cost. Cracker Barrel and Waffle House are next door so you don't have to travel far to get a quick bite to eat. It is close to the CSX train line so there was some noise but we are not light sleepers and we became accustomed to the squeals from the train wheels. We also sleep with the TV on so we were never bothered. Clean, comfortable and easy access. Great deal on the rate, too. If you are looking for a no frills, clean, inexpensive room, this is a great choice. We would stay there again.

“Just a Room”

My family got 2 rooms for 1 night while visiting Nashville. At check-in the clerk only gave us the first room even though both rooms were in their system under the same last name. The clerk gave us a room that had had some maintenance/plumbing work done recently on the commode in the bathroom and the repair man had not cleaned up after the job (it was pretty gross). The clerk at reception was very accommodating and apologetic, and we were provided with 2 adjacent rooms that were fine.

“never to return”

The rooms were not very clean including the bedspreads had stains.The room smelt like an ashtray and by the next morning all of my clothes smelt stale as well.
