Bus Terminal/Trucker Hotel under renovation

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Facility is, unbeknownst to me prior to arriving, under renovation...it seems it is a contract hotel for truckers and it seems it serves as a way-station for a bus line. Bond paper signs are taped to walls, all over the place. Lobby is not open all night...balcony door in my room did not have a working lock (the security bar did work however). Cheap towels in the bathroom. Ceiling height in hallway was 7 foot. Soiled mattress was left sitting in hall my entire stay. Pool was in desperate need of cleaning, can see the dirt on the pool floor from the fifth floor. Dated decor. The place needs the renovation, but they should havre warned me.

Horrible

Posted Jul 15, 2014
The rooms smelt moldy, and the floors were wet from moisture. The ac unit was loud and the bathroom was gross. There was no room service. I called for more towels one time, and all they said was, you can come to the front desk and get them. Wouldn't go back, not worth the price.

This is the worst hotel I have ever seen

Posted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: I can not believe this building has an occupancy permit
Cons: I will continue to complain about this trip untill somebody listens to me so that I can prevent another weary traveler from getting scammed like I did
This hotel is completely uninhabitatable. Please do not stay here.I have been a victim of false advertising. The pictures show a beautiful hotel and the reality is that it is run down and should be demolished. The upper floors are open air and the lobby is disgusting. I had a late checkin after driving all night and almost walked into an ambush as there were undesirables on the upper balconies. It is located in a bad neighborhood and there were only 3 cars in the parking lot. I returned the next day to check out but could not get a refund as they said the manager was not there but he was there as I saw him talking to the clerk.

Pros: Quiet...New mattress and linens.
Location: Seemed to be bad part of town. Didn't find anything nearby.
Not too bad...just old , but remodeling. Didn't seem to be in the best part of town. When we checked in, we stayed in the rooms.

Won't do that again

Pros: The main lobby.
Cons: Everything else.
Location: Just north of downtown Nashville.
Pulling up to the hotel at 10 pm and seeing only 5 cars in the lot should have been a sign, but I assumed most were gone for a night on the town. It was Thursday and I was delusional. Entering the hotel, the lobby is nice and clean and the renovations on the first floor look to be complete and as a result very nice. We stayed on the third floor. It was a dump that smelled like...a dump. There were couches in the floor "lobby" that looked and smelled like portable homeless shelters. In a word, disgusting. For some reason there was a different crowd of 3-4 sketchy souls congregated there regularly. Upon entering the room, it wasn't all that bad. There was no dresser for unpacking clothes, but it was largely clean, until you went in the bathroom. Uh, yuck. The bed was clean but not terribly comfortable, but I have a Tempurpedic at home so it could just be me (and the springs that were visible through the top of the mattress and sheets). There is still currently renovation going on at the hotel. You are reminded daily (including weekends) when they start chipping tile, swinging hammers and generally making noise. Once the renovations are completed (IF they're ever completed) it will be a decent place to stay deserving of it's current 3-Star ranking. Until then, enter with caution. If it's a quick overnight, fine. If you're staying for a few days like we did, beware. I would only recommend this hotel to people as a joke or if I hated them.

Bad experience

Posted May 19, 2014
This was the worst hotel experience ever. Definetly not a 3.0 star hotel. Not in a great part of town either.
