Like the musical decor

Posted Feb 24, 2015
It was a positive experience minus my 19 year old girlfriend having to tell me part of my birthday surprise because she's not 21 and couldn't check into the hotel! That's absolutely ridiculous!

It was OK

Posted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: The housekeeper we had was great. The bed's were comfortable. There was no issues with the elevator, ice machine, TV/remote and we had a nice view.
Cons: The bathrooms need some help. A shower is the best part of the day and I just wanted to take a quick one and get out of that bathroom.
Location: Good Location. Not in the middle of downtown but still close. There's a gas station near by if the little gift shop didn't have something.
The room was fine. The bathroom was a little gross and falling apart, we wore our flip flops when we showered. The hotel front desk staff wasn't rude but the weren't the most helpful. Our housekeeper was VERY friendly, I think her name was Betsy? (cleaned 4th floor the weekend of Feb. 19th to the 22nd) The two bar tenders in the restaurant were arguing with someone else working there in front of us and turned around and were a little rude to us because of it. We just had one drink and left after the women figured out who was in charge of giving us our check. Overall, we felt safe, had a comfortable bed to sleep in and clean towels when we wanted them. Next time we come to Nashville we may try another hotel. One with a shower we don't have to wear flip flops in and a front desk/restaurant staff that's a little more helpful and welcoming.

Great deal in a town with expensive hotels.

Posted Feb 20, 2015
Pros: Clean, comfortable, affordable.
Location: I worked downtown, not near the hotel.
Millenium has everything you need, at much better value than the expensive hotels downtown. Their shuttle will bring you anywhere, and come and pick you up for just the price of a tip to the driver. The drivers are friendly and engaging. The restaurant is good; as is the gym. I'll definitely stay here again.

Not worth the price.

Fairly close to downtown Nashville. Some of the staff were amazing while the majority is fairly rude. Room was outdated and ceiling drooping down. Shuttle was nice but only running one day. Wouldn't stay here again.

Good Locale for the Price

Posted Feb 18, 2015
Pros: The staff was great, the decor was welcoming and the bar was friendly.
Cons: The bathrooms are in need of some aesthetic updates.
Location: The shuttle at the hotel will take you downtown to Broadway, dropping off in front of the Ryman. Plenty of fast food options around the hotel.
The Millennium Maxwell House was a pleasant surprise and experience. With a shuttle running downtown and an awesome staff ready to jump through hoops and do more than their fair share to help out, I highly recommend this place whenever you stay. From the front desk, to the bar staff, this gorgeous hotel will help you live the Nashville life on a budget.

Quiet place to stay

Posted Feb 17, 2015
Cons: Needs some updating
Location: Not near anything popular but easy expressway access to everywhere.
Had a terrible experience at the initial hotel I booked on Expedia. This one was much better. It is quiet and the staff is helpful and friendly. Need a car though. Not walking distance to town but great access to I-65 north and south.

Average Hotel

Posted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: They provided a shuttle to the race.
Cons: better planning of mgmt. when you are expecting large crowds. maybe new gas hotwater heaters.
Location: Location is not too far from downtown but too far to walk.
Check in was suppose to be at 3pm however we were not able to get in our room until around 4pm. There was only one lady checking people in and then when the line increased they had 3 although 2 of their computers would not work. Very long lines due to race in town. The room was pretty nice and the bed slept well. Left the room early to run in the race and went to eat breakfast. When we got back to the room to take a shower there was no hot water. They said it was due to so many runners using the showers. I guess it is an older hotel and does not have very speedy recover on the hot water heaters. Decided to just leave and take a shower when we got home.
