Was in, town for a Trade show. Needed a place to sleep for two days. While I'm a simple guy and don't need much, there were a few things left to be desired. First, id like to compliment the staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They were really the only "plus" to the place. When I first got in and up to my room, maintenance had left the door propped deal but I had to go downstairs to ask if that room was even supposed to be rented. From there, there was the cheap closet door that was install and never sealed/painted so it was pretty stained, dirty and gross. Broken floor tiles in room and elevator. A decorative fabric shower curtain, but no plastic liner so the floor got wet when I showered. A sticky substance not cleaned off the night stand and I don't even WANT to know what that was. Just not a great experience. It was my first time to Nashville so I'm not really sure how much money buys you how much room, but for $80-90/night I expected at least a little more. To even spend money on painting the hallways so that they aren't "leftover-nicotine-from-the- 8 ' yellow" would have made a big difference in the initial "presentation". Again, the staff was great but I'll likely try somewhere else next time I'm in town.

I guess I got what I paid for.

Pros: I liked that there was an option for Room Service, and the food served was very good.
Cons: The bathrooms need to be updated pretty badly.
Location: We were really close to the majority of things we had planned to do in Nashville, so that was fabulous.
The hotel was immediately disappointing when we found that we did not have a mini fridge or microwave, but we decided to make the best of it. The bathroom was pretty bad and we had to have the shower head fixed 10 minutes into the stay. Personell were fast and friendly. However, the bathroom smelled like urine the entire time we were there. When the beds were made up, the sheets and pillow cases were not changed. Other than that, we survived.

Rough stay

A 3 star establishment at best, minus a star for hygiene and another for the rude, mocking receptionist who killed any hopes of a good experience.

VERY disappointing place we were glad to leave..

Pros: The pool was nice.
Cons: just about everything except the pool
Location: Unfortunately, my daughter got sick on our trip there! So we really didn't get to see much EXCEPT our smelly, clammy, not inexpensive room!

Nice Hotel

Pros: We liked that it was pet friendly.
Cons: Weights could be added to the work out center.
Location: It was close to the Country Music Museum and not too far from the Grand Ole Opry.
We really liked this hotel. It had a pool and a small work out center. Decent continental breakfast. Working elevator.
