Nashville Stay 4/13/14

Posted Apr 15, 2014
Pros: The room was newly remodeled.
Cons: Selection of channels on TV. A room dedicated for Business Center during renovations. More spaces for this improve section!!!
Location: Downtown, Broadway and Printers Alley close by (5 blocks or so).
I loved our room, very clean and nice but the hotel lobby was waaaay too small. I know the hotel is going through renovations, but there should be a room allotted for a "Business Center" and perhaps an area for people waiting .... another room??? It is way too crowded and I seen people getting perturbed by the inconvenience. I did not like the entrance.............too hard to figure out where to go. I did not like the $30.00 fee for parking for one night when the room was well over $200.00 (standard king room) for one night. It was only blocks away from downtown but did see a few police on segways riding around and a girl had just got beat up and was looking for some solitude. She avoided the police. Kind of scarey! I am glad I was with others or I may not have felt so safe in the evening. The channel selections on TV were not very good. I like to watch home improvement type shows and there was nothing but sports and news on and movies at $16-$19 each. I rented two or three and it was a terrible rip off.

Still under construction

Posted Apr 14, 2014
Location: Restaurants, music and new convention center all within walking distance
If the rest of the hotels renovations look anything like the renovated rooms, the hotel will be a winner. It would garner 4 to 4.5 rating. Difficult to assess due to the amount of work remaining. Room was pleasing!

Thank you for the compliment on the renovation. The renovation is scheduled for completion on May 1. There are a few details such as the presidential suite that will take a little more time but I hope you can return and see the finished product.

Easy walking distance to NASHVILLE downtown =)

Posted Apr 13, 2014
Pros: So BEAUTIFUL and LUXURIOUS!! STAFF was AMAZING!!
Cons: Hopefully at completion of construction the elevators (on a Saturday morning) will be able to handle all the traffic & luggage!
Location: Downtown NASHVILLE is within a SAFE walking distance...even for families!
Short walk to NASHVILLE downtown area; there were enough people/lights in the area that our family felt very SAFE. As for this hotel...it is currently under construction for AMAZING upgrades...WoW...YOU can totally visualize the direction this LUXURIOUS hotel is headed. Yes, construction is a pain...but sometimes YOU just need to look past the "small" stuff! We stayed in one of the newly finished rooms...spectacular, spacious, luxurious...overall OUTSTANDING. Our only complaint was on Saturday morning there was too much traffic coming/going on the elevators...we got tired of waiting and took the stairwell with our luggage. The hotel staff was very accomodating during our 3 day, 2 night stay! I would completely RECOMMEND this hotel.

Overnight Stay in Nashville

Posted Apr 12, 2014
Pros: Location and newly decorated room.
Cons: We had read about the potential noise from construction, but it was not evident for us between 6PM and 7AM.
Location: Lots of restaurants nearby. Although closed at the time we arrived, there are government buildings, museums and other attractions nearby.
Stayed one night at the hotel. We were aware of the construction issue, but noise was not an issue as we arrived on a Friday evening and left on a Saturday morning. We encountered some issues with our door key, but were assisted very well by Ashley. We could tell that our room had been recently renovated (as there remained a hint of the smell of paint) and the decor was very nice and the room with a king-sized bed was spacious. We were also able to walk around the downtown as the hotel is conveniently located.

Stayed during construction...wait until it's done

Posted Apr 10, 2014
Room was great, best pillows I've ever slept on...everything else was terrible...place looks like it will be great once they are finished with construction...if you plan to be in and around the hotel a lot you may want to find another place to stay...I spent majority of the time out of hotel so it didn't really bother me...staff was friendly and accomadating for the most part, a few people and things were irritating. For instance, you check in and they hold your credit card number like most hotels...I asked upon check out to print a receipt to make sure nothing was charged and they put up a big fuss about it smh...like that is something that you need to do for me and is common practice. Also, one person told me we were getting complimentary breakfast since the whole construction stuff, so when I called down to front desk to confirm and see if there was anything I needed when I went down to breakfast, they tried to act like they didn't know that they already told me they would be giving me free breakfast...like they were hoping I wouldn't really use it.

Undergoing major renos. Big inconvenience.

Posted Apr 10, 2014
Hotel is undergoing major reno project and nowhere was this indicated at time of booking. Had to rebook meetings that were planned at that hotel since there were no lobbies, no bars and restaurant wasn't exactly fully functional. Room was newly renovated but had not been properly cleaned with plaster dust everywhere.

NICE City

Posted Apr 8, 2014
Pros: loved the hotel room - cleanliness and comfort. complementary breakfast was very good - nice perk due to construction
Cons: elevators
Location: Nashville - walking the city is good exercise!
checked in early, walked around Nashville. Beautiful city! returned to hotel and stayed in my room the rest of the night doing work. did not realize the renovations in lobby. did not realize the two elevator back up. was not pleased with the feeling of sardines in the elevator. got off and ran down the stairs to avoid the elevator mess. i would certainly stay again and recommend to others, once the construction was complete and there were more than two elevators working

Not worth it

Posted Apr 7, 2014
Extremely slow front desk, our room was not cleaned, had to go ask for towels, one of our room keys did no work, outlet in the room in did not work which realized the next morning when my phone was dead. For big money(350 a night) awful experience.

Hotel is under construction. Way too expensive

Posted Apr 6, 2014
No amenities. Place was freezing. No one answered phone for room service request.Had to dress and leave hotel for dinner. Told parking part of room charge whensigned in then charged for parking as leaving. May be worth cost when. Construction is done but way over priced for current service.

Food and beverage service was a joke.

Took 10-15 min. to get elevator. No where close to hotel to relax and have drink. Not a place I will visit again.
