Older hotel under renovationPosted Aug 31, 2014
We were under the impression that this hotel was closer to downtown than it was. We were also not told that the whole hotel was undergoing renovations with parts of the hotel unusable. Downside to staying here was poor customer service lack of custodial service and the fitness room and the professional work spaces were closed. On the upside the hotel is close to the airport with wireless Internet and complimentary breakfast.

Pros: The staff was friendly
Cons: don't have the blowers on the a/c blow right on to the bed
The hotel was rather expensive since it had no pool and the fitness center was under renovation. The a/c blows directly on the bed and the second night we moved the couch in front of the blower to keep the air off of us. The staff was friendly and breakfast average. For the price we paid we could have stopped at several hotels near by which had pools and weight rooms.

We will stay here Again and Again!Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: We like everything about this hotel!
Cons: I did not notice anything that could be improved. It was a very pleasant two nights.
Location: The Grayline Tour bus picked us up at the door of this hotel each time and brought us back.
Very clean hotel. Very comfortable bed. Air conditioning was wonderful even in the hallways and elevator. Hallways were brightly lit not dark. The free breaksfast was a pleasant surprise! There were bagels with cream cheese, Danish, muffins, juice and very good coffee, hot biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs, and pancakes! What a welcome smell as we can down for our breaksfast! They also offer a free airport shuttle and pick up. They let our friends park their vehicle there for free while they were gone on their trip. Chyna and Geneva at the desk were so helpful and pleasant !!

Grand Ole Opry time!!Posted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: The location, as in general, for a city, wasn't too difficult to find. Very clean and good staff. Appreciated a convenience store next door too!!
Cons: As mentioned above, other than a few inconsiderate guests being loud in the hall during late evening hours, we were very comfortable.
Location: The location was near the Grand Ole Opry - our main reason for our getaway. But also worth mentioning, there are restaurants and attractions nearby!
Our stay here was most pleasant. The hotel is situated near many amenities travelers drive to Nashville for. We stayed up on the fifth floor offering some decent views of the city. Other than a few disrespectful guests being a bit loud later in the evening, we enjoyed the visit.

Served its purposePosted Aug 21, 2014
The room itself was nice but the rest of the hotel, particularly common areas were very "tired". It did appear they were doing some renovation so it my be that I just caught them in transition...

Great ValuePosted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Price. Proximity to airport and fairly close to Nashville and Grand Ole Opry. Clean. Safe & Secure.
Location: No restaurants or shopping within walking distance. They do have an airport shuttle but you will need a car to stay in this hotel.
We consistently stay here while visiting our daughter who is a Vandy student. Although it isn't in the West End, it is only a 10-minute drive away and half the cost of downtown hotels. The facility is clean, fairly updated, generally quiet with ample parking. Usually has a better than standard complimentary breakfast but this weekend's wasn't their best showing. Sausage Disks replaced the usual bacon and no yogurts available. In at least 15 stays, we've never had to change rooms, had a key that didn't work, had plumbing issues or no towels/toiletries. Not the newest hotel but very reliable offering.
