“Nashville Wingate -- Maintenance needs attention”

This was our third stay at the Wingate. First, to be fair, the staff there is very friendly and very accommodating. It's not the people, it's the maintenance of the facility. The first time, the bathtub wouldn't drain. I removed the plug and used a coat hanger to fish a clump of hair out of the drain. You'd think housekeeping would notice this. Our last stay the door to the room wouldn't lock! We asked to be moved and were instantly given another room. In the new room, every time the A/C compressor kicked on, there was a loud "thunk" -- not an issue during the day, but unpleasant when trying to sleep. This time, the toilet tank didn't seal so every few minutes you'd hear water running back in to fill it. Again, very annoying in the middle of the night. We had a great experience with a Wingate in Abilene, TX. Will gladly look forward to staying there again. But in Nashville -- never again...

“Breakfast without food!!”

“Lovin Nashville”

Our hotel was great. The service was great and so was the cleaniness of the room.

Nightlife

Just go to Broadway St and Second St for all the entertainment. We ha such a great time at Wildhorse Saloon and Tootsies. We loved the General Jackson, it had good food and entertainment. Cant wait to go back!!!!!!

“Cheap rates + nice rooms = good hotel”

We stayed at the Wingate while visiting Nashville. The hotel has modern rooms with HDTV, refrigerator and microwave. It's also only about 15 minutes from downtown. We will stay when in town again.

Area recommendations

Downtown Nashville. There are things for people of all ages and it is packed with history.
