This resort is truly one of a kind. The staff is there to help with anything you need and you cant beat fresh chocolate covered strawberries and champagne in your room every evening. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone considering a trip to the Bahamas as Paradise island has the most beautiful beaches. For a little nightlife or fun during the day the one and only is reciprocal with Atlantis which is nice because of the day club with craps and blackjack. Five Stars!

You would never know Nassah was so close. My wife had a consulting assignment in downtown Nassah and therefore stayed at the Hilton. It was noisy and it felt very uncomfortable downtown. It was different at Compass Point, it was quiet and relaxing, you felt off-the-grid, but meals were fantastic, cooked to order and live music three times a week and a private beach. We didn't want to leave and will go back.

very nice, great accommodation s, the adult pool was ok, great atmosphere, music was terrible, if you enjoy it being blasted all day to soul and rap its your kind of place, too much shade
the cain pool was much nicer and a stone walk to the beach!
drinks very pricy
food was excellant, overpriced
Harborside is a great way to visit Atlantis. All the units are small apartments, not just a hotel room. So the parents have a bedroom separate from the kids. Our kids slept on a fold out couch, or some units have 2 bedrooms I believe. You have full access to the Atlantis water parks, beaches and activities. It is much better than a standard hotel room, you get a kitchen and washer and dryer.
Atlantis is so spread out that no matter where you stay, you will be walking. Harbor side is a little out of the way, but really worth it! There are free shuttles that take you to the other towers if you want them. We chose to walk most of the time.
There are No shuttles to the Airport though. Not from any Atlantis hotel. That sucked.
Atlantis really gets you on every nickel and dime. Harbor side has to go by the Atlantis rules, but they are helpful in finding you alternatives as well. It is a time share, and they did politely invite us to their schpeel, but when we declined, they didn't push it even a little bit. They were very nice about it.
I do recommend the harbor side if you're planning to visit Atlantis.

I love this hotel - great location, close to all the tourist action, but far enough away to give you great privacy. Separate bedroom and full kitchen are a nice plus. The grounds are beautifully kept and full of local vegetation (bromeliads, orchids, local flowers and shrubs). I've stayed here once or twice a year for the past three years and plan to go back.

I was upgraded to the Coral tower; I was there during off season; so the Beach tower is closed. I had a great experience; loved every part of the Atlantis resort; I would definitely go back and plan to within the next year.

We had a room with two double beds and harbour view. The room was really large and accommodating. We had a fridge which was brilliant and lovely comfortable chairs and leather table by the window which enabled us to sit and enjoy the beautiful view. We were able to watch the cruise ships coming in during the early morning and then watch them depart in the afternoon! Our beds were lovely and comfortable and the room service was excellent. Everyone was very friendly and I enjoyed using the gym facilities and swimming in the pool. We particularly liked the Peter Thomas Roth products provided for our use in bathing and moisturising our skin. I will be purchasing these products now I am back in the UK because they are amazing products! Our bathroom was large and we had a bath and shower. Our room and bathroom were kept beautifully clean. I did notice that some of the rooms were very small and the views not like ours and so I would recommend anyone visiting this hotel to make sure you get a room with two double beds and harbour view! The grounds were kept beautifully and it was lovely to walk in the grounds and look at the tropical fruit and wild birds. We not only had a view of the harbour from our room but there was a quiet sitting area below our room which was kept for staff but not used at all when we stayed at the hotel. This had a lovely palm tree in the middle and was very relaxing to look at! Only negative comment - cruise ship passengers can be loud around pool area!
