“Skip the bahamas and this hotel”
This was not a good experience. There were plenty of strange rules that the hotel staff seemed to make up as they went (when you could and could not use your room key; whether they would accept cash; how many towels you could have any one day). Overall people just were not friendly and did not seem to want you to be there. It felt not authentic like a 3 star vegas hotel dropped onto an island. I would skip the bahamas and go somewhere in Florida.
“small room”
The room I was given was very small, uncomfortable and had very small dark colored bugs in it. I was completly unsatisfied!
“Needs improvement”
Hotel perfect for families with good size rooms and lots of water and other activities nearby such as water slides, rafting, dolphins, game rooms for all ages. On the negative side spotty and generally slow wifi service, noisy (low ceilinged) and crowded "fine dining" restaurants with mediocre food. Disorganized and still manual hotel dining and outside activity reservation system.
“You had better go to royal tower or cove tower”
You had better go to royal tower or cove tower than coral tower. Coral tower is too old and had bad smell
“Great off-season deals!”
Trip Purpose: Weekend with friends Pros: Pools are great, food is good (but expensive), dolphin experience is fun, staff is friendly, drinks are good. Cons: We went Sun-Thurs and the nightlife on Paradise Island is non-existent. We had a free activity pass but half of the things on it weren't available because of limited off-season hours. If we had gone Thurs-Sat this would have been different. Overall, though, we had a great time, it's a lovely hotel, and we would go back!
“Atlantis lives up to the hype”
My husband and I stayed at the Coral Towers and were very happy with our accommodations. We're used to staying in 5 star hotels and we felt this hotel lived up to our expectations. The grounds and marine life are breath taking. Smoking is allowed in the public areas which we're not used to but I have to say it was very well ventilated. The fine dining restaurants were all delicious. My favorite was Casa D'Angelo. The eggplant parm appetizer was amazing. We did hear some people complaining about the cost, but quite honestly we found it to be less expensive than Disney. The water park is a blast and the ocean was like bath water. We'd go back in a minute!
“We will be back for sure!”
Atlantis is fantastic. There is no reason to leave the Resort. Easily a full week of relaxing enjoyment, from the pools to the ocean, with wonderful evenings in the Harbour Side Village.
“Better Value Than Expected”
Was able to book a room in the Coral Towers for a very reasonable rate. Not the quality, or price, of the Royal Towers or Cove Towers but you still have all the same access to everything else. Food at the higher end restaurants was way over-priced for the quality. Food at most other eateries was expensive but still reasonable. This is an island after all and most beef/chicken has to be shipped in and carries a much higher cost than what anyone on a main land would expect. Alcohol was much cheaper than I would have thought. Coming from the D.C. area, a single shot drink of low quality liquor will run you about ten bucks. The Atlantis drinks were the same price for way more than one shot of alcohol. A full, 16oz glass that was so strong you need to let the ice melt before you can drink it. Local beers were about fivefor a draft or bottle. Recommend you try Kalik. The water rides and pools are amazing. The casino is nice. The aquariums are beautiful. The place is huge and sprawling. I actually lost a little weight walking around so much. Highly recommend the Bahamas for vacation and I think the Atlantis was a very good value compared to other resorts I stayed at that just had a pool or two.
“my best vacations”
we had a wonderful week
“fantastic family vacation”

Paradise Island, New Providence Island, Bahamas: Paradise Island resembles Las Vegas-upon-the-Caribbean with its fanciful resorts and white sands. Tourists often head to the islands casinos, five-star restaurants, and shopping gallerias; its beaches, water parks, and nightclubs, however, are geared primarily for resort guests. The Potters Cay fish market is an easy detour from Paradise Island. Grouper and conch are typical catches of the day.
