Perfect place to stay

Posted May 11, 2015
Pros: It has everything you need, or you can easily get elsewhere
Cons: The Staff was mostly helpful and friendly ... but some seemed uninterested in assisting.
Location: Lots to do by means of excursions to other islands or visiting and exploring Nassau.
Perfect place to stay. Either way..... If you want to only be at the resort and not venture out... they have EVERYTHING....OR... If you want to use the resort as a base but explore Nassau, neighboring cays etc...... it's a simple as a $12 cab or $4 water taxi ride away. Very impressed with the overall facilities. Lots of things to do even if you don't want to go in for the extra $ activities.... water park activities, several aquarium venues, multiple pools, beautiful beachs (where you can snorkel), casino, gym and beautiful and interesting grounds (plus more) are all included in your resort fee. I'm not sure if they always do this but Wi-Fi on the resort grounds was also included in our stay. The Staff was mostly helpful and friendly ... but some seemed uninterested in assisting.

Bucket List Destination

Posted May 10, 2015
I always wanted to go to Atlantis. The property is gorgeous and impressive.... The service was all around disappointing. The staff is really eager to ask how ur stay is but if u ask for anything from a glass of water at dinner, a drink at the casino, or reasonable compensation for a whole night spent moving rooms don't expect anything. I would recommend staying next door at the Riu for 1/4 of the price. Same beach and views, same casino access, and same level of service.

Smokey and Overly Expensive

Posted May 8, 2015
Pros: location, the watermark, the amenities, the spa, the fitness facility, restaurants
Cons: SMOKING should be eliminated or confined to a certain area...the casino was awful and we had to walk through with our 3 year old and it was terrible
The Hotel has a huge presence...I enjoyed all the facilities...waterpark was amazing...the 19% gratuity automatically added in addition to the VAT tax 7.5 was outrageous!

Great location with great facilities

Posted May 2, 2015
Pros: Staff are friendly and many restaurants to offer nice food
Cons: More attention to wet floors !!!
Location: Great walk at the Marina and close to the fish market place. Close to the beach
All went well but while checking out my wife fell down due to wet floor with no sign! She broke her wrist and travelled all the way home with broken hand The security and manager on duty arrived to help but the damage was done to my wife

Royal Tower Atlantis

Posted May 1, 2015
Great family destination. Hotel was beautiful and clean but bathrooms could use an update. Hotel staff was very nice. Overall was a great vacation but do your homework on places and pricing on restaurants. You may get sticker shock if not prepared. That said we would definitely revisit. If bringing children I would plan for bringing some snacks and baby food.

Amazing view!

Pros: Clean, welcoming and safe. Gorgeous views and buildings.
Cons: Besides prices - not much
Location: In the heart of Paradise Island and Atlantis is its own world - you never have to leave the resort. If you do there are plenty of taxi's.
Very clean, great service and extra friendly staff. Only downside is room balconies are literally one foot - enough to step outside and that is it! No other problems at all. Was even given a room fridge free of charge just by asking - which I recommend. Prices are outrageous - but you do get what you pay for which is an incredible vacation. Staff makes you feel welcome above and beyond. Even walkways and outside places are immaculant - super clean and cared for. Food including room service was excellent - again very pricey, but almost all of the Bahama's is. You an find cheaper prices, you just have to look. We took 2 thirteen year olds with us and felt safe letting them explore on their own. If you have the money, I highly recommend this place.

Showing it's age. Could use some improvements. The employees could be nicer. Pay attention to bill. As stated many times, food prices are outrageous and the food is nasty.

Great Vacation

Posted Apr 25, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff, clean environment, beautiful grounds
Cons: Everything is an add-on charge and unless you know in advance, it's shocking how expensive everything is.
Location: Location was good. We did take a cab to Nassau and glad we did. Felt like we got a more authentic view of the Bahamas.
Atlantis was really fun. The water park was great for kids and adults. We stayed at the Royal Towers and the room was spacious and clean. It did smell a little musty, but it's a humid climate so that makes sense. We did the meal plan, which I'm not recommending. The special offer during our stay was kids ate free. The chose the Atlantis Plan and two restaurants we wanted to try were not included (Nobu and Mosaic). Reservations were important to have in advance. Definitely check your bill at check out. There were multiple mistaken add on charges, which they had no problem removing when asked. The dolphin experience was a definite must and even though it's pricey, it's worth it.
