“it was okey”
Bath tub and sink were clogged. Shower curtain was flying when shower is on,so it was sticking to my body everytime i take a shower.Requested to have it changed with a heavier kind but they said that is the only one they have. Everything was expensive inside the hotel.
“Very Impressive”
Great place. Excellent staff. The only disappointment was the food and pricing of the food. The outdoor food/drink venues need better choice of food. The food was too amercian kids ... A few choices more on the idea of Miami Beach outdoor Hotel selection would be nice for adults. Did not like the dinner buffet at all ... food was very bland ... large selection but nothing great for the price. Some native Bahamian food would have been great also.
“Will come back soon”
We visited Atlantis couple of times during cruise trips. Our daughter enjoyed the water park and dolphin interaction, so we decided to stay there for the Thanksgiving break. It has been a very pleasant trip. The Atlantis is a very beautiful resort, with many attractions to my 9-year daughter, the various aquariums, water parks, the beaches, snorkeling...Clean room, friendly crew, nice food, everything is perfect. When we arrived at the hotel, we tried to schedule a Sea Lion interaction for my daughter, but it is over booked during the following days of our stay. So we have to leave it for next time, and will book it in advance.
“Very good hotel. but expensive”
Atlantis was very good. However, with inflation. You must cost over $1,000 during the stay.
“People Everywhere”
This was our 7th time to Atlantis and the property is still the best around. The downside is the amount of people there. Atlantis is all about money, so they let cruise ship passengers pay a daily fee to come to the property. Those people then flood the pool area, slides, and casino. Therefore, if you pay to stay here, you must wait in line behind people who paid for a day pass. Greed is ruining the product and not sure we will be back.
“Hoping to go back!”
We spent 5 nights with our 8 year-old son and stayed in an Imperial Club room. Having complimentary continental breakfast and snacks throughout the day (and complimentary happy hour!) in the Imperial Club Lounge helped keep costs down for food and drinks while out and about. We also packed snacks (crackers, granola bars, candy, beef jerky, etc) from home. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the resort. Although the resort looks huge, everything is within easy walking distance. If we go back, we would consider staying in a less expensive room in a different tower. But it was fun to splurge on our first trip! Food is expensive and many dinner plates are large portions that are share-able. I was disappointed that fruit was not a choice for a side item with kids meals, usually only french fries. We grabbed an extra apple or banana at breakfast to save for evening. Of our 4 full days there, we spent the first 3 at Aquaventure and other pools on property. Our last full day was spent sleeping in and taking the water taxi to the Straw Market. The Atlantis Kids Adventure was great for my son and it let my husband and I have an adult evening out. Spending 5 nights was about right...not sure my son would've lasted another day! Start making your list ahead of time so you don't forget anything...plenty of sunscreen, magazines, sunglasses. Nothing is cheap at the Atlantis! Overall, a fantastic, relaxing vacation!
“Nice in November”
I was pleasantly surprised to find that all the reviews I read that said the staff was rude were quite wrong. We had nothing but pleasant staff on our visit in November. Being more of the "off" season, lines were not too long. Food was good, resort grounds were very nice and the extent of the pools and water activities was amazing. The only fault we found with the resort was that it was not overly stroller-friendly. We had to carry our daughter's stroller up and down many staircases. Elevators were either too difficult to locate, out of order or just not available.
“Impressed with the Service, Quality and blown away by the location”
A unique and great experience that everyone should experience, at least once in a lifetime. The location is spectacular surrounded by turquoise water as far as your eye can see. The have eclectic restaurants around the place that serve food as exquisite as the restaurant. Best place to have a memorable family vacation.
“Will return”
Food prices for normal dining NOT ridicoulas Example large burger and fries with pickles $12.00 Typical prices for a resort atmosphere. Gratuity included in all food and beverage prices Import Bottles and drafts approx $5-$7 Drinks approx $6-$12 Souveniers over priced example Hotel sweatshirt $50 take taxi to Fish Fry area for great bahamian seafood
“Better than expected”
Went to Nassau for an event and expected the Atlantis to be a ditto of the typical Las Vegas megaplex; full of smoke and the only way in or out is through the casino! But it was very nice; the only time you saw the casino and the associated casino stuff was if you wanted to. The room was very nice and because of an early warning we knew to pick restraurants carefully $$$ can run up very fast. Two minow warnings: 1. Don't even look at the minbar! Prices are typical minibar excess but use is monitored by weight. (BTW: the front desk does alert you to this at check-in). Thinking this meant if you took something out you were charged but we put something in, to cool, and it charged us! Go figure! ; ) 2. Sunday brunch at the Market place was over $57 for two --- room service would have been the same price or cheaper. Still would strongly consider returning and recommend for couples or families. Tons of things to do with many great attractions that are included with the room.
