Great location. Great for families. Not luxury.Posted Nov 12, 2013
Pros: Size. Location.
Cons: Renovation required.
Location: Close to 4 nice restaurants. 15 minute bus ride to downtown Nassau.
Place is in desperate need of renovations. The balcony sliding doors no longer slid but popped out of the tracks, master bedroom windows had been burned by acid (to make them opaque?), the patio furniture was worn and moldy. It's a small detail, but you need to bring your own toiletries (shampoo...). The office staff was very friendly and helpful. Our family of 6 had a great time. We greatly appreciated the size and functionality of the villas. Don't expect a pretty decor unless you're staring out at the see. Incidentally, you should definitely pay the extra for the ocean view villas... the location of some of the garden view villas were pretty depressing.

Quiet & spaciousPosted Oct 30, 2013
Pros: Helpful & friendly staff ! even cheered us up whillst we were waiting for the dreaded cab home with a taste of sky juice !
Cons: A bit of modernising especially round the pool area but then again you cant expect sandals facilities without paying the price!
Location: Near cable beach and very convienient for the bus downtown or the fish fry. Close to sheraton & crystal palace casino, and the fantastic curlys!
Spacious rooms, quiet, simple and a good value option close to cable beach. We weren’t 100% happy with our room (villa) but the staff were really accommodating and helpful and let us move. The hotel was ideal for 3 nights without paying over the odds !

Good hotel at a good pricePosted Oct 29, 2013
Pros: The hotel was conveniently located, while still being outside of the bustle and noise of downtown Nassau. I could relax in peace.
The 3 bedroom villa was clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, lots of appliances were provided (washer/dryer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, electric kettle, etc.). The only complaint was that 1 of the 3 bathrooms had very loose plumbing in the shower. The person using that bathroom stated that she was worried the handle for the shower was going to come out of the wall. Other than that, no problems or complaints. The pool and private beach were great! The sand on the beach must be combed at least once a day, if not multiple times, as it was very clean and finely textured; comfortable to walk on barefoot. The hotel is close to all the attractions without being right in the middle of the tourist area, so it was pleasantly quiet, but still conveniently located. This would be a great place to stay for travelers who wish to avoid the tourist traps and also for families. It's across the street from several shops, including a grocery store, and fast food options, but there are lots of local eateries (Bahama Grill, Bamboo Shack, Cricket Club, and The Reef Restaurant) within a 10 - 15 minute drive.

Our Bahamas TripPosted Aug 16, 2013
Pros: The private beach and the quiteness
Location: Take #10 bus service to Down town. Take Ferry to the Paradise island spend a day in the Atlantis hotel Aquaventure / casino. Do water sports activity.
The Blue water resort is a nice place to stay in a safe neighborhood. Close to downtown and Paradise island. It has it's own small beach area where my daughter enjoyed lot of quiet & nice beach time. The rental villa is suited for our family stay and the front desk staff was very nice. They were able to answer all the questions that we had. The down side that we noticed are 1. rug put on the stairs were kind of old 2. dirty as well as the washer on/off control area was kind of broken and needs to be fixed. The rooms and the towels provided were all clean.

The price is rightPosted Aug 1, 2013
Pros: The price is right (find another 3 BR condo for the same price, yeah right.) Very small beach area feels private. Not too crowded. Staff is nice.
Cons: Nothing, really. If they made a ton of improvements it would cost more to stay there.
Location: You're right on Cable Beach. Walk up the beach a bit and parasail, rent jet skis, take a short walk to the casinos at the Wyndham or Sheraton.
Stayed at this resort for 5 nights at the end of July 2013. Some reviews really knock this place concerning cleanliness, upgrades, etc. Seriously though - the price is right and everything is just fine. Don't expect 5 star property features. It is what it is - cheap, safe, and close to the beach. There is a gate in the front and the guard won't let anyone in that isn't staying at the resort. We stayed with 2 other couples and saved our money for island activities. There are certainly nicer and more expensive places to stay, but for the price this place is just right.

Great to have a full size kitchen and 3 BedroomsPosted Jul 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
The property has a great pool and beach area but we were stuck in a roadside unit that was very loud. The kitchens are all new with laundry in each unit but the bedding is awful with old bedspreads and lumpy pillows. We would stay there again because of the amount of space for the price, but we would bring our own pillows! The staff was very nice and did their best to accomodate us.
