“Awesome! No complaints!”
I came here with my boyfriend in July. It was awesome! The beach and pool were clean and beautiful. The food was very good with alot of variety and was open late (1 or 2am)! The workers and the other patrons were also very pleasant. There are drink machines that serve pina coladas, strawberry daquris and soda available so you do not have to wait in line at the bar. The evening entertainment was ok- we left the resort most nights. The resort is a little far from downtown and Atlantis ($20 cab ride each way) but it was not a huge issue. But it would have be great if the hotel had a shuttle that took people to and from there. You can also walk down to the Wydham if you want to go to the casino and don't want to trek to Atlantis. Overall, it was a great trip and we were both very satisfied!
“I will not go back to this hotel”
although the staff were all lovely, I was really disappointed with the hotel. its very dated, old looking and run down. the food was really bad (the fruit was old) and the selection was really bad. the hotel rooms were basic, the beds were hard, the television in our room didnt work and although 3 repair people came to the room, the problem was never resolved. the bathroom was very updated but the floors were cold, the sheets were dingy and there was no place to sit in the room. the lobby smelled of mildue and the computers in the lobby were all broken. I will never stay at this hotel again, so disappointed!
“Will be back soon.”
It was real pleasure to stay at this place.
“Breezes lovely”
Breezes was a lovely hotel. The staff was very nice and the meals and drinks were all inclusive. Supper is at the grill outside and that's fine, but I wish they had more open for the nicer supper. The breakfast and lunch buffets were good and the drinks at the bar were awesome. Try a Hummingvbird when you are there. The hotel is open and breezy. Very island feeling. We played pool, basketball, ping pong, and checkers in addition to taking the bus (for very little each way) downtown and I suggest everyone take advantage of that. I was a little confused and had to ask questions but the staff was very helpful when I ask. I should have gone to the hotel orientation, but wanted to get to town that day. Our room was clean and comfortable. I have no complaints other than I feel they should give 15 minutes of internet free each day. I had to pay $7.50 for 15 minutes to check on the family back home and that seems excessive. Overall - loved the hotel, the beach, the food!
“Met our Expectations”
I had read some reviews before our trip, most of them I discovered to be people whose expectations were too high. The buffet was very diversfied and we were able to eat something decent every meal. It wasn't large, and sometimes you had to wait to get a table/silverware, but the staff was very enthusiastic about getting us supplied. We found all staff helpful and willing to assist. For the amount of time we spent in the room, it was more than adequate for the week. We'd go back to this resort, but we still have so many other place to explore, that might not happen.
“Extremely disappointed with condition and service”
Terrible service and there were times that we had to wait to eat because there was no clean table ware. The grounds and hotel were very poorly maintained. We were very disappointed. If you are planning a trip, please consider this review. We certainly wish we would have booked a different resort. Very disappointed!
“Clarke”
The strength in this hotel lies with it's employees. The buildings show signs of aging, broken tiles, a strange smell of sewage in hallway between west wing and piano bar. The people working there are certainly the friendliest, most caring staff I've ever experienced. The service staff of the two gourmet restaurants were exceptional. My wife and I had four meals, two at each venue, and were so impressed with the 5 course dinners. I would and did rate them at 5 star level.
“I'd go back”
It was nice but it could've have been updated more.
“Would not refer, reccomend or suggest anyone ever stay at this resort!!”
This resort is at most a 1 star rated resort. Approximately 90% of the staff is very rude. The resort is old and run down and much need of a complete remodel. The food is the same everyday, they only have a buffet and two restaurants which are closed 50% of the time and hard to get into. The pools were dirty and the beach is ok. We were here during the Hurricane and their accommodations were to have us sleep on the floor in a ballroom and in hallways and serve us nachos and no alcohol for almost 24 hours. I would never stay here again and would not refer, or recommend this hotel. We checked out a day early and moved to a different resort just to try to enjoy our last day and night in the Bahamas. This review is being politely written. Keep that in mind when booking, this wasn't even a get what you pay resort. The bedrooms are very outdated and rock hard beds. The bathroom is the only part of the resort that appears to have any remodel done to it. There is hardly any activities here and the staff does not really try to make it fun.
“Definitely as advertised, will return!!!”
Breezes was nice. Everything was exactly as advertised. More food then you can imagine, more drinks imaginable. ahhhhh it was nice. I only had a problem with the hotel rooms. They were a little ran down for my taste but they werent filthy. I just think they need a major linen upgrade as well as furniture. The walls had a few holes in them but they had them camouflaged. Because of Hurricane Irene they are repairing damages. Hopefully room upgrades are at the top of their lists
