Hotel location is one of the best features.Posted Apr 17, 2015
Pros: The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Towels were available for the pool/beach, and breakfast choices were good.
Cons: Bathroom needed some repairs/upgrades.
Location: I liked that I could walk to Senor Frogs, The Straw Market, Starbucks, Hard Rock, Pirate Museum & downtown shopping.
The staff were great, the bathroom not so much. I'm all for water conservation but having to flush the toilet several times, each time defeats the purpose.

Best Hotel for a Vacation in Nassau!Posted Apr 17, 2015
Pros: The hotel environment and atmosphere was great!
Cons: The clarity in explanation of these "surprises" beforehand while booking for the customers to be aware of.
Location: The hotel has a wonderful location because it is basically at the center of everything! Just pick a direction, start walking and explore!
I had a wonderful time in Nassau! The hotel was great, and definitely the best accommodation in the area. A few things that I was surprised to find was that I had to pay extra for a maid in my room and extra electricity use. Otherwise, a great stay and wonderful time, from the food to the rooms, perfect fit for my wife and I.

Nice hotel close to everythingPosted Apr 14, 2015
The hotel and property is very nice. Pool and beach area was very clean. Close access to the downtown and the fish fry. The room was a little smaller than I expected but, how much time do you really spend in the room.

Nice hotel, private beach, friendly staffPosted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: Middle of action/shopping, private beach, friendly staff
Cons: Water pressure in shower was horrible.
Location: Shopping and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. If you want to go a little further, there are always cabs available at the front door.
We only stayed here one night but I would definitely stay here again. It was nice, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. I also liked the fact that it had it's own private beach area. It is also in walking distance from many restaurants and shopping in downtown. Great place to stay weather you are looking for nightlife or a quiet, private stay.

Nice small resortPosted Apr 6, 2015
Pros: Hotel is very well kept.
Cons: I think it should advertise that several hours a day the Cruise Ship patrons attend premises.
We enjoyed our stay at the British Colonial Hilton. It was very clean and well kept. We liked that it was a small place and not too far from the airport so not a long uncomfortable drive afer a flight which is sometimes the case. We didn't find it loud which was great as we were going to relax and de-stress! The only reason I wouldn't go back is that it advertises private beach/pool but when the Cruise Ships come in, we found it inindated with kids and many more people.

Great hotelPosted Apr 3, 2015
Cons: List all additional fees, VAT, energy surcharge, room attendant fee, wifi, etc
Location: Walking distance to shops and beautiful beach on property.
Very nice location and safe! Beautiful beach! However, be aware of daily room attendant charges and energy surcharge and other little fees. Add about $200 per day to the price Expedia has quoted.

Nice Hotel Downtown NassauPosted Apr 1, 2015
Pros: Location Proximity to everything
Cons: Internet and breakfast prices
Location: Fantastic location
I enjoyed my stay at the British Colonial Hilton. Hotel location is perfect for tourists, right at the center of all activities. Internet and breakfast are good, but pricy. Access to the beach is just great! Eateries and shops are a few meters away.

Good downtown locationPosted Mar 23, 2015
The room was nice with a view. The beach is small but does the job. The location is perfect for walking around downtown and access to restaurants and ferry. we had a small hiccup during check in. The electronic lock on our door wasn't working. So they had change our room. We waited maybe 20 mins for the change. Staff was super friendly. Aqua restaurant has good food. Bullion bar didn't have good food.

Dissapointing...Posted Mar 21, 2015
Intermitten power outages (not Hilton's fault, but...maybe a generator is in order given the politcal issues that exist with the Government vs. the Union). Terrible water pressure in the shower, resolved on day five after the third tech took the flow inhibitor out - then the pressure was ok and by the way the bathroom configuration left a lot to be desired. The shower door and the bathroom door are in each others way. The tub recoating was almost all pealed away. Each floor has a security entrance then five stairs up - I've never seen anything like that. Maid could not understand that water glasses should be clean every day and that towels should not need to be requested. Pool and beach lounge chairs are comfortable but the cushions are fifthy (disgusting really) and the beach was not as clean as it should be (butts, etc.). The good news - the weather was outstanding, the water was spectacular.
