On beach and in town

Posted Jan 23, 2015
Hotel is a bit tired, rooms are small. City view is over a McDonalds parking lot. Convenient to the town of Nassau. Has its own small beach and staff are friendly.

Needs and update...

Posted Jan 22, 2015
Hotel was nice but definitely needed a face lift. The rooms and lobby were nice but the outside areas need an update...cushions and chairs in the pool and beach areas should be changed. The food left a lot to be desired as well. The snacks at the pool were very expensive and not very good. Hotel was very central but needs better food and cleaner outside cushions.

Great hotel and staff on Nassau harbor!!

Posted Jan 13, 2015
Pros: EVERYTHING!!
Cons: Not a thing!
Location: Great pool and beach! Easy walking distance to downtown Nassau shops. Quick taxi to Fish Fry (YUM) and Atlantis.
We had a wonderful stay there in January! From the front desk staff to the pool bar staff to housekeeping every one was so hospitable and friendly. Our king suite exceeded our expectations! Leisure escapes is the way to go-nice continental breakfast, great tea and dessert hour, plus fantastic happy hour and terrific snacks! Good location too!

Quality in great location

Posted Jan 13, 2015
Had a very nice experience during my stay! Shenique, Shillin, Donna and Pat and The Head Bartender at the beach made me feel an affinity to this establishment. I will certainly check for availability when I return and tell my friends en route to Nassau to check here. Bravo folks and thanks for making my stay- wonderful! Gina, room 432

Looks better in pictures

Posted Jan 13, 2015
Took mom for 75th birthday. Enticed by private beach and proximity to downtown. Private beach was very small and had constant flow of cruise ships. Pool loungers hard to come by as cruisers were able to get day pass. Not worth cost.

Very impressed overall

Posted Jan 9, 2015
I can easily recommend this hotel to anyone. The main entry is impressive. Nice staff to greet you, it was beautifully decorated for Christmas when we visited. The private beach was nice and clean. The grounds were well kept. Our room was very large with high ceilings and comfortable furniture. The bathroom had a separate tub and shower. The breakfast buffet was worth the $20.

Great location, a bit limited in amenities

Posted Jan 6, 2015
Pros: The location is the best feature of the hotel, you are right next to the downtown and walking distance to the Fish Fry.
Cons: Service is slow and the food, when it is available, is quite pricey.
Location: There are lots of tourists shops nearby but be warned that this whole strip shuts down early and you might be very limited in dinner options.
My overall experience with this hotel was positive but there is pricey and there is room for improvement in their services and amenities. We arrived at the hotel around noon and were promised a room by 2 pm, when we checked back the clerk couldn't get hold of the housekeeping staff so she went to check and never came back. We went to the beach and returned at 4 pm, other people were lined up as well and it took another half hour to get our keys. Overall the room was very clean, the bathroom is spacious but needs an upgrade (shower tiles looked dirty and somewhat mouldy). We found the restaurant and bar to be pretty expensive, a 15% gratuity is added to your bill regardless of the service you receive. On a few occasions we waited more than half an hour to be served in the bar regardless of how busy they were. Apparently mint is in short supply on the island, we couldn't get a single mint drink all week. We were in the bar on New Year's Eve and the kitchen closed at 10:30, we couldn't get a single morsel of food after that time as even the lobby shop was closed. The rooms were spacious but be wary of the noise on Fridays and particularly Saturdays, the noise coming from Senor Frogs next door kept us up to 3 am.

Enjoying the place with comfort.

Posted Jan 5, 2015
Pros: The whole stay.
Cons: Some small boats navigate too near to the beach borders with noisy motors.
Location: My experience was the New Year. I had a beautiful fireworks show. Also, it was easy & near to take a ferry tour around the front isle.
With an excellent central localization we enjoying the place under a good private relaxing spirit. Also, with an excellent chef staff, very good bar & service. The ideal place to spend a Caribbean sunny beach vacation watching the cruises show. I recommend It.
