Just for some Days

Posted May 3, 2015
At first don't book online because there u'll pay 100$ per night... This hotel got a weekly Rate for 350$ or a monthly Rate for 1000$... And for these Rates the Hotel is good. My Room was clean and the Staff was very friendly...

Very Poor - both Service and 'Resort'

Posted Mar 26, 2015
Pros: Leaving in the morning.
Cons: The Chinese who are completing Baha-Mar come in and renovate this one, I somehow doubt that will happen.
Location: Don't even think about any form of breakfast being available here - but Starbucks was relatively close.
The hotel has seen better days, and is very worn / run down but this was a last minute stay - as the Spring Breakers had effectively taken the whole Island - so I was somewhat prepared. On arrival it took some time to get some service but I was eventually introduced to a porter who took the 'master key' as the lady could find the actual room key. When the porter opened the door to the room there was a couple already in the room and on the bed!! On the 2nd attempt the room was empty, but was tiny (about 10' x 10'), no balcony and just awful - when I mentioned to the porter that this was not acceptable, as I had ordered a Queen Room with Balcony the previously well spoken English went into some form of Swahili / French ramble and he 'could not understand me'. I went to the front desk and asked what is going on and she blamed Expedia. then carried on chatting to her friend while I tried to pay for a bottle of beer and water from the office fridge - at least that worked and they were cold! Never again, not in a million years!!

Staff is the only good thing about this hotel

Posted Mar 9, 2015
Pros: Staff
Cons: Need to honor their amenity list, could be a little cleaner
Location: Location was near cable beach, able to walk to the bus stop
While the staff did everything they could to help make it a good stay, the hotel itself leaves much to be desired. The fridge and the coffee pot are the only amenities listed, yet are non-existent. The staff tried to get us a fridge and did so by the 4th day, but it was broken, and by that time all of our food went to waste. The pillows were disgusting, a pillow case would have worked, but they did not have any so they gave us a sheet to put over it. We had to switch rooms, due to broken windows and a barking dog, but our second room the windows were broke also, and the shower did not work. We could not switch again because the hotel was booked with construction workers (my sister and I and 17 men, yeah we felt safe) We could not shower for the 5 days we were there. The bed was full of hair in the first room, and you could feel the springs through the mattress. There are no safes provided, and the door to the "resort" is always left open, with any random person coming in for a beer. We did not feel safe there at all, especially when the staff did not tell us to have a nice day they said "stay safe." They told us the barking dog was probably due to the apartments being robbed next door. While I did not see any bed bugs, there were random creatures in the bathroom. I realize you get what you pay for, but a shower should have been included. Luckily we were the kind of people who just laughed it off, but I'm sure others wouldn't have been able to hold back their frustrations.

Always overbooked their rooms

Posted Mar 6, 2015
I booked my stay through Expedia, when I arrived at the hotel, the front desk informed me that they had nothing available. I was shocked to find out as Expedia never contacted me. They, of course, blamed Expedia for keep selling the rooms when they asked them to close it out. I had to go to 3 different hotels to look for my room to stay that night and the front office at these hotels informed me that this is a regular practise for them; to overbook the room and call other hotels to check availabilities for their guests (but of course didn't book it on their behalf). This experience had cost me time and money. The owner of the hotel was there too but was not much of help.

Bad surprise!!!

Posted Mar 3, 2015
I did book a single room in this hotel for the night of Sunday March 1, 2015, when I got to the Hotel that night around 10pm, I was shocked to find out that the hotel did not respect my reservation even if the room was already paid. This is not serious at all, the excuse I got is that the Hotel was oversold and there was nothing they could do about it, so I had to go to another place in order to spend the night and catch my next flight the next day. Bad, bad, bad...

Don't stay here don't even think about this place

Posted Feb 28, 2015
To start with they didn't have the room I had paid or any room so they put me in a room that wasn't ready for visitors to stay in. I complained to staff with no results. There was no water pressure and no hot water. The tenant that LIVED below had a dog that would bark every day at 0530 nostop.
