Good value for The Bahamas

Posted Mar 2, 2015
Pros: Everything. No problems.
Cons: They might point out that the dining bill already had a 15% tip added,
Location: Did not leave the hotel except to dive at Stuart Cove's Dive Bahamas. Which I also highly recommend.
Everything was very nice. Hotel is clean & comfortable. Staff were cordial and helpful. I was there solo and only for the scuba diving, so I did not have time or desire to see what else the island had to offer. I understand the water Park at the Atlantis is great for kids. I did not visit however. I dove every day for my seven day stay. I would warn visitors that if they eat in the one hotel dining room, that there is a 15% tip added to your bill. I did not notice and added an additional 20% tip. I sure hope the wait staff received and appreciated my 35% tips and it did not go to the hotel.

Great to have full access to Atlantis!

the full access to Atlantis is a great bonus for this hotel. The free breakfast and Atlantis passes worth $150 per adult makes this a fantastic bargain.

Very pleased!

Posted Mar 1, 2015
Pros: Breakfast was great! Beds were nice & extra pillows were appreciated. Our maid was especially nice.
Cons: A map of the hotel would be lovely!
Location: The Atlantis is across the street, but it's further to the beach than expected. Bring some good walking shoes!!!
I was very please with the suite, the breakfast, & the staff! Everything was well cared for & clean. The staff were very happy to accommodate any requests we had. The maid service was impeccable. My only request would be that we had a map to lead us in or out of the building. It took us 2 days to really figure out the best way to get to the Atlantis & the market & back to our room. We enjoyed our stay.

A peaceful alternative to Atlantis

Posted Feb 21, 2015
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Comfort Suites. It was great to have access to Atlantis when we wanted to go there, but Atlantis is really a Disney meets Vegas kind of place - fun, but I would not call it relaxing. We were able relax around the pool at Comfort Suites, converse with the friendly and attentive staff and get to know some of the others guests. The food at Crusoe's Restaurant in the hotel was surprisingly good and much more reasonably priced than the other restaurants on Paradise Island. The rooms could use a bit of updating, but they were adequate for the purpose. No one goes to Bahamas to sit in the hotel room! On one of the days we were there, the hotel management hosted a sort of happy hour with free rum punch. Management came to talk to all the guests. We really appreciated that gesture and personal attention.

Great Paradise Island Option

Posted Feb 15, 2015
Pros: Convenient location, cleanliness, Wi-Fi, pool area, friendly staff
Cons: Complimentary breakfast, adding another space conducive to spending time at the hotel away from the entrance, provide maps of local area
Location: Atlantis resturants, shuttle, & activities; Cabbage Beach; Versaille Gardens & Estates; convenient stores (Dunkin Donuts, grocery, liquor store, etc.)
This hotel was clean, had the basc amenities needed, and was in a great location. Pros: - Location location location. Everything we needed within walking distance. - Access to Atlantis, including the resorts activities and shuttle; - Room clean - Free Wi-Fi - Beautiful (seemingly clean) pool area - Concierge staff very friendly - Held bags securely after check-out until we actually needed to depart. Cons: - Terrible breakfast- near inedible (though included) - Rooms are fine, nothing to write home about - No comfortable areas to hang-out (lobby has some counches and a bar, but small and you feel like you are just sitting in a doorway. - No hot tub
