“Nice hotel away from crowds”
I got exactly what I wanted: full kitchen, nice view, pool and hot tab, 5 min walk to the beach, and no crowds.
“Great value”
The hotel was in an excellent neighborhood and we used it on two occasions, both going and coming from the Berry Islands. Obviously we would have changed accommodations if not satisfied. The rooms were clean and very well decorated. The only draw back was it is located almost as far out on Paradise Island as you can get which made it a quiet location but a taxi was necessary to get anywhere. The ride from the airport was about $40 each way. The hotel did have a free taxi service to town every day where they would pick you up at 11am at the hotel and pick you up in town at 4pm. Seems like a lot of time but it is necessary.
“Better than expected”
This was our forth trip to Paradise Island and our first stay in this hotel. We "did" Atlantis a few years ago, so this time we were looking for some place away from the big crowds. Since we know the area, we were not surprised by the hotel's location and how "far" it was from most of the attractions. What worked for us was that this hotel was barely 15 min from the most beautiful section of Cabbage Beach. Free bicycles can get you anywhere (5 min to the nearest grocery store, which in my opinion is cheaper and better stocked than the one across from Atlantis). Our rooms was clean, the kitchen has everything one would need, and the pool was GREAT! All rooms have a view of marina, so get ready for some nice, relaxing meals on a terrace. For those who complain about the prices, this is the Bahamas people! If you are looking for a cheap getaway, go to Cuba. It's that simple. This is were rich and famous come to play, and that has it's price.
“Loved Paradise Island!”
We stayed at the Paradise Island Harbor Club and Marina for our daughter's wedding along with many other wedding guests. The wedding was at the Paradise Island Beach Club time share which was a very safe & convenient short walk from our place, even for the groom's elderly grandmother. We chose this location because it allowed flexible check in dates and stay. We could check in other than Sat-Sat and could stay less than 7 days if needed. We appreciated the free bikes as we made many trips back and forth to the other resort. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. Perfect for a tropical vacation. We had everything we needed for cooking and the pool looked lovely and inviting even though I didn't have time to use it as I was too busy with wedding responsiblities and fun. Our rooms were great in that there were two bathrooms for each of our two bedrooms. The 2nd room connected to the kitchen and could have been a separate room without cooking facilitites with an entrance to the outside. My sisters spent more time with Rosalind, our housekeeper, and Peter the shuttle driver. They were both exceptionally helpful and informative about Nassau and they helped them find local shops that they wanted to shop at. Our bags didn't arrive at the airport with us and were delivered to the wrong resort. The young gentleman working the night shift helped track them down and the day staff made two trips to the other resort when they arrived at different times.
“Nassau, Bahamas and changed...for the worse!”
BEWARE!!! There is 15% tip automatically added to your check...even if it is only for 2 beers! And the wait staff is rude if you don't "double" tip. The hotels idea of 2 queen beds is different than ours. We did get 2 beds...full beds, not even doubles! Way to small for 2 people to sleep in. The hotel is way out there, but the bikes are a nice touch. As far as the rooms are concerned...kind of like "Motel 6" with color. We were only ther for 2 nights and 1 day, so it served our purpose.
“Get what you pay for..in a good way”
Overall the hotel was clean and most people were friendly. Unfortunatly the marina in front of the hotel was under construction during the day and since they were running off of generators at night our power would go out. It wasn't happening in all of the rooms just ours because it was the only one running on the same power source. Other than nothing being done about the power, or the subsequent beep across the hall from the outtage, our time at the hotel was great! And we loved the free bike rentals which gave us the oppurtunity to explore the island on our own, the pool area, and the harbor view. ITs has very spacious apartment style rooms and costs way less money than most other hotels. I had read that someone called it "the vacationer on a budget way to see the Bahamas" and they were absolutely right!!!!! Cabs and food are all still expensive and for the time you actually spend in your room this hotel was a good deal!!!
“Great value though a little rough around the edges”
Just a really great value, even if the shower needed some maintenance. Very nice pool and restaurant on the water. The restaurant was excellent, although expensive, with lots of old-time Bahamian charm. Free wireless in our room. The bathtub drain was plugged and the bath to shower lever didn't work well, so the shower was meager. The water had a sulfer smell, unlike the water in downtown Nassau. The beds were very comfy and the suite was great with coffee maker. Five of us stayed in the two-bedroom suite which was fun. Nice outside porch overlooking the restaurant and water. A loud birthday party in the restaurant on Friday night required ear plugs for sleep.
“expensive, the bar nearby is too noisy, no much service”

“Small and Personal Hotel”
Great small and a personal hotel. As simple as the simple beauty of the Island. It's not very fancy, but promises you nice and comfortable rooms. They provided free bikes for the tour of the Island.
“Not a good location”
The hotel was ok, the biggest problem was the location, on Paradise Island. A taxi ride to anywhere was expensive, so we were taking multiple taxi's a day, which ended up costing a lot of money. They have one place to eat at the hotel and its expensive, so we ended up eating one meal a day there. Also, I had a squeaky bed. The hotel was ok, just not in a good location. The pool was nice, but the hot tub was not hot.

Paradise Island, New Providence Island, Bahamas: Paradise Island resembles Las Vegas-upon-the-Caribbean with its fanciful resorts and white sands. Tourists often head to the islands casinos, five-star restaurants, and shopping gallerias; its beaches, water parks, and nightclubs, however, are geared primarily for resort guests. The Potters Cay fish market is an easy detour from Paradise Island. Grouper and conch are typical catches of the day.
