Nice establishment at the beach with a pricetag

Posted Jul 29, 2015
Super hotel, nice surrounding, nice people (most of the time), super beach(s), super pools, beach food far to expensive 2 Sandwiches, fries, salat and soda and water over 50 Dollars! Overall Hotel very nice but prices increase 5 fold as soon as the bridge to paradise island crossed as a local explained.

Outstanding visit to The Cove

Posted Jul 26, 2015
Pros: beach, service, pools, room- huge and comfortable.
Cons: Have a hotel guest only block of time for the rides. The cruise people swarm in and take over.
Location: We went to Ocean Club and toured the grounds. Beautiful. If you go into town, eat at Lukka Kairi.
We spent five days at The Cove. Outstanding service, facilities and room. Yes, it is expensive but worth it. We were there with our 18 year old daughter and enjoyed the Vegas style pool. The bartenders are very heavy handed so we felt the price per drink was justified. The difference between the Cove and the other buildings is noticeable. It is definitely luxurious at The Cove. We received nothing less than fabulous service from our maid Maria, the bartender Cheyenne, the Coral Tower Aquarium Curator Elgin Hepburn, and Tamarika our server at Mesa Grill. Also, Nicara and Ricara at reception were wonderfully pleasant and helpful. I hope The Atlantis management reads this and let's this staff know how great they are. Oh, and Paradise Beach is gorgeous as always, great soft walk into the ocean. Calm waters and beautiful sand.

Excellent place to stay

Posted Jul 18, 2015
We were very impressed with how everyone from the time we checked in until the time we checked out attended our every need. Mosaic breakfast was great and worth the price. I want to also commend Expedia for booking us here after the Baha Mar continues to remain unopened and did not charge us any additional fees. I will definitely go back to the Cove and I will book through Expedia

Service is the worst part.

Posted Jul 14, 2015
Pros: Beach
Cons: Service needs to cater to guests!
Hotel is very outdated and there are constant problems with faucets and water pressure. Service is far, very far from a five star hotel standards.

Nice stay (except)

Posted Jul 12, 2015
Excellent stay... (Although overpriced). Attentive staff and beautiful facilities. However, there should be signage posted by the pool informing guests that hotel towel left on unattended lounge chairs will be cleaned off by staff. A sign should be posted in large print because we were accosted by a four pack of senior citizens from Philadelphia who accused my spouse and I of STEALING "their" chairs and threatened my spouse and I with violence and used vulgar profanity. This incident was, of course, not a reflection on the hotel, but we do feel signs should be posted after hearing other (senior) guests make similar comments about guests "stealing their chairs" following the above incident.

We have visited multiple times. Although the facility is well kept you can see the signs of aging

Cove Atlantis

Posted Jul 11, 2015
Pros: Great pool area, Cain at the Cove. Clean, with the feel of an upscale resort.
Cons: The bed linens were well worn, with a couple of holes in the comforter. They advertised "free dolphin encounter" but fail to tell you it is only for 1
Location: Downtown shopping was very close. We saw people parasailing and riding wave runners at the resort
Overall, the Cove is a very nice place to stay. Lots to do, and we really appreciate the adults only area. It is VERY expensive and the restaurants take advantage of the fact that the Atlantis tourists are a captive audience. Bring your wallet!
